Most of the time they have a great daily lunch special. Great place for a warm cup of soup or a great sandwhich. Always have pie and I have never had a bad piece of pie!Nice home feel kinda like grandmas kitchen.
My mom and I decided to check this place out a few days ago and let me tell you it was worth the 19 mile drive. We will be returning. It was the best breakfast we have eaten in any restaurant in a long time. Thank you, mama pie

We were camping at Lake Towakani and it was too cold to cook at camp. One of the things we like to do while visiting the state parks is find local restaurants and support them. We are glad we did. 4 breakfasts and a small pecan pie, and slice of berry crumble pie was $69. Which seemed reasonable. Our server was spot on with the coffee and drink refills. Our food did take a little bit to come out but we were not in a rush and it was good to get out of the cold. Would visit again...read full review
