Lara's Bakery is a Raymondville staple for pan dulce. Staff is nice and the pan dulce tastes delicious for days (especially when you stock up if you live out of town). The empanadas are the best!
I live in Houston and I don't get out that way too much. A buddy of mine from Raymondville turn me on to Lara's Bakery and they are without a doubt the best empanadas I've ever eaten. I wish I could find a bakery like that here in Houston. Every time I get down that way I buy about five dozen because they freeze really well. Hopefully going to get down there soon. I miss having a good empanada.

Best sweet bread in the Valley! The empanadas, donuts, and conchas are second to none!The service is excellent. Staff is friendly and quick to tend to you.It's a bakery and so the ambiance is just what you would expect.
