The fish was definitely a good portion for the money spent. I spent 112.00 and the fish was cooked hard. Very great presentation. Mom and I love fish and she was visiting, and I wanted to suprise her. It wasn't what I expected because the one I tasted the one in north Dallas was sooo good. I decided that I am not driving out to Preston. Rd., there is one right out here. Not a good decision, this time. I really paid for it this time.

Weāve been meaning to try this place and SO HAPPY WE FINALLY DID!!! Definitely found our new favorite fish place, and they do delivery!? Amazing.
We ordered 3 catfish strips baskets which come with fish, fries, 2 pieces of bread, pickles, and peppers. You get a good amount of fish and friesāenough for leftovers (even though itās so good you want to just eat it all in one sitting!). The fish is so fresh, seasoned, and fried to perfection! It tastes like both the fish and the batter are seasoned well. They put a lot of thought into thingsālike they put the food in a plastic container vs a styrofoam box so nothing gets soggy. Love that!

I was in Dallas on business, staying at the Westin a few blocks away. It was my last night, I was tired, had an early flight in the morning, and just wanted a quick meal to take back to the room. A quick search showed this fried catfish spot nearbyā¦ so yeah, say less.
I walked in expecting a basic neighborhood carry-out, but instead was greeted with some of the best service Iāve had in a while which was totally unexpected. It wasnāt fancy, but it was clean, comfortable, and had good music playing. It was a good vibe so decided to eat in at the bar. I didnāt catch her name but the bartender was so nice and kindly walked me through the menu.
I ordered a glass of wine and the 2-piece fillet basket. Good Lord, that fish was HOT and delicious! And when I say āfillet,ā I mean a full piece of fish not broken up little scraps. Two big pieces were definitely more than enough, but it was so good I ate every bite.
Iāll definitely be back on my next trip and will be telling my Dallas office this is the spot! Thanks for the great experience and wishing you all the best in your new location!
I came up from Burkburnett Texas. My sister order fish and it was the real deal. When you're from or grew up in Louisiana you know real Catfish.

Iām sorry I had to do a review because I heard so many good things about the fish and it did not live up to the hype. I waited 30 mins for 1 piece of fish. She said it came with pickles fries. It was 2 pickles in there . The fries was the just ok. Bread was stale , and fish smelled fishy and barely seasoned . I was so disappointed. I was wondering why it was only 8.00 I see why now. I wouldnāt waste my time , only thing I can say is that it was hot . But food was not delicious . Sorry
