I typically like this place for the taste of the burger. But it should not be hard to add jalapenos upon request. Only posting this because this is not the 1st time it has happened. Still an amazing burger. The prices are not, customer service is hit or miss unless you dine in. I still go on a whim when they are open....

Very nice gentleman. I got two of the 3 meat plates. Tried the brisket,pulled pork, turkey and regular sausage. It was good, we wish we would've ate it there but we waited until we got back to our camping spot. I got the mashed potatoes, green beans, churo beans, Mac n cheese as sides nothing is thick all thin even bbq sauce. But still had good flavor. Also got 1 lb of the ribs also was good. Would return if in the area. I suppose $86.00 is reasonable for everything that I got.

I’ve been coming to Junior since I was a little girl. It’s my favorite barbecue place. Anytime, I’m near red Oak, we always stop by. Today we walk in and the lady that was taking the orders was rude and not friendly at all. She got an attitude when I wanted a baked potato and okra. I said I understood that it would cost extra to have both sides and when I said I still want to do the okra she was like yeah I wrote that down with an attitude. She handed me the table number for the okra. My mother-in-law didn’t realize that the table number was for her okra as well. When she brought the food, my mother-in-law mentioned that she had also ordered okra and then my mother-in-law realized that the table topper was for her okra as well and said oh I didn’t realize that sorry and the girl says yes rolls her eyes and walks away. I don’t understand the rudeness towards customers. I worked in the service industry. I understand there are rude customers, but we weren’t ones. It was so bad we said we love the food, but we’d rather just go to soulman’s because of how rude she was.

So we drove an hour to try this bbq place. To only get baked ribs the worst pinto beans and even more horrible mayo potato salad. My jumbo baked potato was a standard size potato and half a cup of chopped beef, sliced cheese and store bought bacon bits. And no bbq sauce on it. It's a hard pass next time for me.

I dislike giving bad reviews, but establishments and communities need to be aware of what they don’t know. My family and I have been going here consistently for a year. Everything was great until today. The customer service was bad enough today that we wont be back. New young staff have been hired here; I don’t know or care if this new young staff have certain beliefs, biases, or just lack the proper social skills, but being blatantly rude for no apparent reason is never ok. Too many bbq spots here in DFW to feel like you have to deal with nasty attitudes where you are spending your hard earned money. When people show you who they are, believe them.
I’ve had experiences in the past that led me away… yet gave it another shot.
I had a horrible dinner delivered to me that never should have been made the way it was.
I messaged the store and it was read but never replied. I asked around and found that the owners are responsible for reading and replying to them. So, that’s even worse.
When I feel like I’m not worth the time, I don’t return. It’s just poor customer service. And if it’s accepted, they’ll never change.
This was once the place to go to! Now,hearing so many people comment on my personal post, I’m one of quite a few that are now going elsewhere.

Great atmosphere customer service was on point very nice lady at the window. I ordered 2 potato’s & a nana pudding.
The potato’s were very gritty little meat & no bbq sauce was given no silverware no napkins nothing
Very disappointing for $32.. I want my money back & I’ll bring the two potato’s & pudding bc we couldn’t even eat it.

the young lady that handed me my food was rude, she literally slammed the window open pushed the food out the window so fast I was in shock, when I said thank you. She turned around and said “ugh huh” and walked away.
This was a different lady from the one who took my order.
We are fasting right now & this was our first meal of the day, I wouldn’t even give it to a stray animal 😭💔I never leave bad reviews but this one was out the water for what I paid for.
