I love hanging out with friends at Bambu. We had fresh conch larb (off menu special) ... so yummy! We also have oyster salad, creamy Pacific Coast oysters tossed in a spicy-citrus dressing with fried onions and garlic. The Pad Kee Mao Boran is always a go-to for me - fresh, thick rice noodles with its aromatic "wok" char. We also have a bottle of 2016 Twommey Merlot, always love exploring their wine menu - very extensive and diverse.

I’ve tried this place craving for good Thai food. It was ok. I don’t think I’ll go back though.

This is a local gem! It’s a bit small, but bright and cheery with a terrific staff. The yellow curry was very thin for my liking but still good. The prices are very fair and we felt very comfortable here. Would love to come back!

Bambu’s food is exceptional! They have the kindest staff, owners, and the restaurant is spotless. I have never been disappointed with a dish whether dining in or taking out. Best Thai food in the metroplex.

I’ve been going to this restaurant since I was a little kid and the quality of food and service has always been impeccable. Shelley who owns the restaurant is lovely and amazing and always says hi. Please come and get the crying tiger beef and black rice pudding!!

I love how friendly the people are and how good the food is here especially the nam khan Tod and crying tiger beef. If you want authentic thai food in Dallas, Bambu is a must to visit!

It is the worst food I have ever eaten among Thai food restaurants. I could taste stale meat. There were not enough vegetables. The food was too salty and too sweet. Some employees did not respond to my request. Only one employee served me. The others ignored me when I needed something.

Stopped in after driving since 10 am (it's almost 7pm) dressed like a haggard hobo bc I was exhausted and haven't shaved in 3 days, wearing crocs, and they treated me great. Had live acoustic music on a Tuesday in a Thai restaurant, 10/10 wasn't expecting it. I absolutely love live music and love my meal and the vibe of the place. In Dallas for another month and a half for work. Thanks for the dinner, I'll be back.

Service was excellent. Atmosphere was quaint but mostly typical for a small strip shopping center location. Prices were reasonable, including for modifications which was a nice surprise. We got pad kee mao with tofu, yellow curry with chicken, and peanut chicken with chicken. The pad kee mao was good. About as good as pad {whatever} at other places. The yellow curry had a tiny bit of spice but otherwise very little flavor. The color was extremely pale; like it was almost entirely coconut milk and very little actual curry ingredients. If you don't like curry... you might like this. The carrots were giant chunks. Almost like sweet potatos... But they were carrots. Both the carrots and the potatoes were under cooked. The chicken had that slightly metallic flavor and chewy texture of over cooked chicken. While not great, we finished the dish. The peanut chicken we did not eat more than 2 bites of. It's false advertising to call that "peanut sauce" it was the consistency of water... It had very little flavor... Mostly salty like a "garlic" sauce or something you might get at a other Thai restaurants. That's not what I think of when I think of "peanut sauce" and it isn't what we wanted, so we didn't eat it enough to say more than that.

Enjoyed a nice lunch here. The service was great. Lunch came with a soup which was nice on a cold day! The dishes were appropriately sized with just the right amount of sauce and spices.

Good food overall. Flavor of the Massaman curry could've been improved by using fresh ingredients.
