Order bbq ribs,oxtails, cabbage,and candy yams the ribs are super dry oxtails super greasie cabbage hard and greasie only things that's good is the yams I don't recommend this place I see why they keep it dark on the inside to keep from seeing the terrible food they serve will not be going back oh and 50 bucks spent this place SUCKS....straight TRASH

I got the oxtails, which I really didn’t care for they taste like they had some type of batter in them. And the dressing was like mashed up cornbread. But the look-aid was great..
I have ordered here a couple of times and they never disappoint! They are so good, they some times run out of certain sides! I really hope the community continues to support this mom and pops spot because their food is heaven sent!

I ordered the fried pork chop plate, and they got it all both plates, we asked for Mac and cheese, Instead we got yams, the collar greens were bland, but what takes the cake, is the burnt cornbread and they wrapped and served, we did a pick up order.

Arrived @ 730pm to LOCKED doors despite the time on the door AND Google showing open until 8pm. The gentleman inside just looked up & shook his head indicating no they’re not open & the lady inside w/him just walked off. Honor your posted business hours or @ the very least put up a sign indicating early closure when something changes.

The food was good and the service was efficient. My husband had the meatloaf plate and he thought it was amazing! I had the fried chicken plate and it was seasoned to perfection; however, it was slightly undercooked. All in all, we would definitely go back.

This restaurant is straight to the point what you see is what you get with amazing service. The servers were not only kind but very patient with me indecisiveness. I ordered the show stoppa plate with hot honey wings and grilled shrimp. It came with Mac and cheese and I got regular mashed potatoes instead of the loaded. I got a veggie plate with string beans, mixed veggies and cabbage. Everything was thoroughly seasoned and the portions were great. My favorite part was the shrimp and mashed potatoes and I look forward to coming back and trying other dishes.

I had the baked chicken, squash, and okra w/tomatoes. It took me back to momma’s home cooking over 30 years ago. I really enjoyed it.I googled soul food places in the Richardson area and found this one. It’s close to church on my way to Wednesday night Bible study. Went through much traffic to find the place. I started to get frustrated and disappointed for it looked closed from a distance until I pulled closer into the parking lot. I was so relieved to find it open.

This was Our first time here and we arrived at 4:05p and didn't get to order until 5:15p due to the staff completing call in and online orders first before serving the people standing in line. They began to run out of items due to fulfilling other orders first We had to wait another 35+ mins before we got our food. My order was still incorrect but it was pretty decent.
