First and probably last time I go to Below 40 here. I paid over $18 for a large bowl and it is just a bunch of greens with hardly any protein or toppings. The person at the counter was also gave off unpleasant vibes.

Ordered two poke bowls with grilled salmon and shrimp online. Came home with no grilled salmon. Called the restaurant and they said the website has been wrong if you order both it’s suppose to charge more (1 dollar more). I get stuff online can happen but informing us about this would have been wonderful we could have paid extra. But no communication relating that to us. I’m never going back bc the first time we ordered here they forgot our seaweed salad. Thought I would give it one more try. Definitely not ordering from here again.

Seems I’m getting all salad and rice. Meat portions for tuna are really light. Portions seem huge but it’s all greens and rice. Being a little stingy on the post Covid cut back folks. Put some meet on there or change the name of this place to subway.

Horrible customer service. The person helping me was very rude. I asked a simple question about a menu item and just got stared at for 10 seconds as if i should know what is in a shoyu sauce and he gave me a rude answer back explaining what it was. I was very uncomfortable and whenever I would nicely ask to change something that i wanted he stared at me again. They were not busy and had no other customers so there was reason for the attitude either. I also tried to use my UTD discount and he was very rude about that as well. I honestly should have just left. Horrible experience. Will never be coming here again.

Healthy and tasty food, well prepared and served to your table. Made fresh at the moment. Nice staff. They offer free Miso Soup with entree. And there’s a 10% discount to UTD students. Delicious Matcha Green Tea.

The price to amount of food ratio is ridiculous. Way too expensive for a small bowl with mostly rice and little portions of fish and extras added on top. With a $1.50 charge for an extra add on making it hard to fill the bowl. Upon entering there were three people working yet there were 5-6 tables filled with dishes and food from previous customers. Luckily I ordered to go, but when I asked for a spoon to accompany the soup I had order I was told no, when I asked why not I was told to drink the soup from the to go cup. Bad service, expensive, and not even good food. Will not be coming back.

I often uber eats lunch from here and pick it up because the staff is so friendly! The chicken bento box and their bone broth is my favorite. Great food, Great prices and even better staff. :)

Quick counter service with good poke bowls. The fish is fresh, which was unexpected for Dallas (personally, when I think about poke, sushi or fish, I think of coastal locations). One can make their own bowl, but the B40 Island Bowl is an all in one option that is really good. Lots of flavor in every bite. Dinner was quiet, but it was a Monday night during football season and no TVs, so not sure if it's uncommon or lunch is a busier service - but food was good..

My husband, daughter and I all came here for lunch. My husband got the ramen bowl and I got the B40 island bowl. For our little one we got the kids chicken and rice bowl. Everything was so yummy and fresh. This was my third time here and again, not disappointed! Service has always been friendly and reasonable and the atmosphere is great for a single diner or a family. I’ll definitely be back.Kid-friendliness: Their kids chicken bowl was delicious. We all enjoyed it :)

I tried a premade poke bowl on this trip and I thought it was fantastic and a great value. Love that they bring the food to your table and provide a cup of miso soup if you dine in - very nice touch. Will come back again to try a custom poke bowl next time!
