This place should have a higher rating, honestly. Walking in felt like stepping into an episode of Gilmore girls. Wooden chairs and tables, drip coffee, etc. It just feels like the interior could be any small towns main spot that everyone goes to. The couple working the shop were quiet but polite. They won't be talking you up if you stay to get work done. There was no music playing - which felt a little odd to me at first, but honestly would be so nice to read or listen to your own stuff. When I ordered, they both made the food right there and served it hot. It does take a little time if you are walking in, as it was just the two of them. The food itself was great! We got the breakfast sandwich with added cream cheese, and a lox bagel. Both tasted fresh. The prices were good as well, I've been to a few breakfast spots in the area and this was the most reasonably priced.
I would absolutely come back here - perhaps even use it for breakfast catering for work. I hope this place gets more business, because it's great!

I love this place for their bagel sandwiches. The portions are great and everything always tastes fresh. So, food wise, everything is up to par. However, customer service is not good. It is owned by an elderly couple. The first few times I went in the husband was really nice. He would greet, smile and say bye. His wife always has a miserable face. I didn't let it bother me the first times, but after going at lease once a week, as a repeat customer, I thought I'd be able to crack a smile out of her for coming in so often. Nope! In fact, she got worse. It got to the point where it would give me anxiety to go in to place orders because it seemed like she would go out of her way to be absolutely cold. They're located right across from my office and it's been super convenient going in to get breakfast there despite the bad customer service. So, in order forme to avoid the mean looks, I started to place my orders online. When I placed online orders, it would notify me when the order was ready and I would head over. Recently, I went in and she told me it wasn't ready. Then she asked me if I could go on the app to let them know when I would picking up the order?? I tried to explain to her that I get an email saying my order is done. She looked super frustrated and shook her head no and then proceeded to finish my order. That was the last straw for me. I thought I liked their bagels enough to keep returning, but after the recent visit, I will no longer recommend them. Customer service is so important and essential to running a good business, they lack that.

Such a cute mom-and-pop place with a neon sign out front, and cozy all-wood furniture inside, but was sad to not see anyone else there! Maybe just because it’s 1pm when I went in? Hope so!
Anyway, the flavored cream cheeses are homemade and labeled, look delicious, and for sale to take home too. Great prices for just an everything bagel and onion cream cheese, and great value combos on the menu!
They deserve the business, which looks like a married couple running the place together. Loved it and hope that just means they have a very busy morning crowd to ease into the slower afternoon! I will definitely be back soon and can’t believe I hadn’t stopped by sooner!

I enjoyed my experience at Benny's Bagels while my family and I were in a hotel nearby. I ate there 3-4 times. They are a small mom and pop shop. I don't expect much customer service from older people trying to make a living. Maybe we can be the ones to make them smile? The food was great Everytime. The atmosphere is a little outdated. Otherwise I love it.

Great bagel shop NY style, cooked to perfection NY style. Better than the competition, since the competition's bagels resemble a donut with a huge hole in the middle, that's the reason I quit going to the competition, they skimp out to make more profit.
Good food but .Never have I received an email and been charged for extra capers on a lox and bagel.Dont allow special instructions if your gonna charge someones card and not ask them first if they want to cancel the order instead..
