Had the shrimp katsu which was very tasty and the sides from the deluxe box paired well. It was pretty empty when we went which was surprising given the quality of the food. Would definitely go again. Downside is the plastic utensils and the water was warm. Also the miso soup was too salty.
Update: I have been here several times over the months but need to decrease my review from 5 stars. I was eating at the restaurant and ordered another dish for my friend who was joining me later, they decided they didn’t want to eat there so we wanted to pack it up to go. I asked if I could have a small container for katsu sauce and spicy mayo and the manager told me that they don’t do that and became very rude, even though I thought it was a reasonable request. At the end she gave me a small container for spicy mayo but it leaves a sour taste in my mouth and I am hesitant to return. I see why this place is usually empty

This is one of my favorite local spots. The food is delicious and the service is so friendly and quick. The cheese katsu is delicious and it tastes just like my favorite donkatsu & curry spots I used to go to when I lived in Seoul. Such delicious comfort food!!

We are regulars here! We love the chicken katsu, the quality is amazing. The atmosphere is great. The service is amazing— there always a sweet lady at the front taking our order and she is the best. Highly, highly recommend. The katsu comes with miso soup and it is one of the best I’ve ever had. We’ve gotten delivery many times from here too and it has always been amazing. One of my fiancé & I’s favorite place!!

I could be wrong, because this is the first Katsu style of food i had. I found the fried food over cooked and hard and crunchy. I tied this restaurant a number of times and found this to be consistent between visits.
I also tied the udon noodle soup, and enjoyed them. Have not tried the sushi yet, however it i wanted a ramen or sushi I will go somewhere else that specialized in these items.
Everything was so tasty. And I really enjoyed the sesame balls and almost wanted to head back to the restaurant to go get more as we were sharing them.

Quaint little place that's good for lunch. I had their chicken katsu deluxe. It came with a miso soup. I really enjoy the Japanese side pickled vegetables. It filled me up for lunch. My 2 friends had the chicken katsu bento boxes.
