Told them I was expected 20 people. They sat us at a table for 14 that was blocking the garage door opening to the rest of the restaurant. So people were having to uncomfortably squeeze around our table to get back and forth.
We had 1 waitress for the almost 25 people that showed up and it took us 1 hour to receive 2 orders of chips/guac/queso.
During a rush another waitress delivered more chips, while she did that, more people for our party arrived and asked her if they could order a drink. She said sure and then when they weren't making up their mind quick enough she rolled her eyes and walked away mid conversation.
We will not be hosting a team happy hour here again.

I’ve visited two separate occasions with coworkers. I liked the size of the location. It wasn’t too small, nor too big. There’s a bar area, general seating, and an outside patio. The cafe is self-seating. Upon entering both times, I noticed the huge lack of diversity in the customers. This kind of made my sensors go into overdrive, but I was already there and decided to give it a chance. The food was really good for the price point. Another thing that made my sensors go into overload was that I was bought a dirty cup of water with a very visible lipstick stain on the cup. It could’ve been that the waitress mistakenly didn’t notice, & possibly would’ve taken the time to choose clean cup had she noticed…I did utilize the restroom & it was really clean.
When I went for the second visit, it was on a Saturday around brunch, & it was very family heavy. The first time was on a day where my coworkers and I got off early from work right before Christmas holiday, & it was teacher heavy.
All of the downsides are not terrible things that the restaurant controls, but they are something to be considered in terms of comfort and expectation.

I cannot say enough good things about this place! From the delicious food to the friendly service and inviting atmosphere, everything was top-notch. I started with a nice margarita and would have happily had another if I wasn't driving! The meat lovers pizza was cooked to perfection, and the burgers were absolutely amazing, the meat was juicy and flavorful, and the toppings were fresh and delicious. They have a nice relaxed atmosphere, with comfortable tables and really cool art in the wall. It made a great spot to catch up with an old friend. Our server was attentive and friendly, making sure we had everything we needed. I highly recommend Cafe Gecko and can't wait to return!

At least they have plenty of TVs. Terrible service (and, no, they weren't busy) and a menu trying to be something they aren't and not succeeding. Never again.

Typical neighborhood bar. Good food choice with our goto of pizza. All the wait staff are friendly, attentive and helpful. Nothing fancy, but that's the point.

The place is good and vibe is nice but we had the worst experience. Giving a detailed review.
1) We arrived here at around 11:15 and google said it’s open until 2. After reaching here they said it’s open until 12 and kitchen is closed. They give a weird reason to it which doesn’t make sense to us as a customer.
2) we asked the waitress (she was really sweet) if we can order food from outside and eat on the outdoors, she said yes we can do that. The food had arrived and as soon as we opened the box of wings, the MANAGER ran up to us and started being very rude saying close the boxes and take it to your home and eat. If that was the case there were many places open with food and good drinks, The only reason why we stayed back was because they said we can get drinks and order food from outside.
The staff themselves have a different sets of rules for the customers so everyone going here make sure you clarify your doubts with everyone present here, including the chef in their kitchen(if he has some unsaid rules)
THE VIBE & DRINKS were really good for a Wednesday evening. The waitress was sweet but manager is rude and needs to be trained about customer service. There is always a polite way to deal with situations.
I love this place

Great place to watch any Texas sports. The Chicken spinach quesadillas are a go-to as they are delicious

Good to see them quite busy on a Friday at 6! Enjoyed their patio, but it was very loud. Our waitress was very busy but she did take good care of us. The food was amazing!!

Solid four, about the best that a sports bar can get from this reviewer. I had the blackened fish sandwich. The fish was excellent and so was the bread. Putting them together wasn't so good. My wife had the quesadilla. It was good but a bit soggy on the bottom.
Definitely worth another visit.
