Passed this place a couple of times, and decided to give a try! Went in, worker served the rice and immediately brought it up to his face, nose deep. I was confused as to why and asked him, he mentioned that he was checking if the rice was still good... Checking to see if the rice has not turned in a poke bowl place. Afterwards, he quickly put it his coworkers face to check. I was in disbelief like there were hidden cameras somewhere, sadly there weren't. I left hungry and hope no one eats that rice for their health.

I used to love this place when they first opened - great concept, good food and friendly staff. However my last 3 visits I've been so disappointed. They are ALWAYS out of stuff - no avocado, no tuna, no toppings for smoothie bowl not even any forks!!?! I really hope they get it together - I love their food when they have it - staff seems to be having fun and not keeping things stocked †left here super bummed today - the food is too pricey to be slacking like that in my opinion

We just moved into the area and we were pleasantly surprised that Chubby Tuna sales Spam Musubi! They did a great job and it was very flavorful. We wanted to try one if their fried versions but their fryer was out. Oh well, it'll give us an excuse to come back. Their customer service was top notch as well. Very friendly cashier and the place was spotless.

I lovee poki. This is the nearest poki location to my house and I'm so happy it was opened. It's not my favorite poki though. The bowl just didn't have that much of an impact on me, but don't get me wrong, it was still uber delicious!! I also really enjoy eating at the establishment because I love the the aesthetic of the building. Super cute with the lined up succulents on the half wall and white and grey decor with hanging lights. This is what I ordered: * Regular Bowl * Brown Rice * Seaweed Salad, Cucumber, Corn, Carrots, White Onion * Spicy Tuna * Salmon w/ Spicy Ponzu * Chubby sauce, Eel sauce * Cilantro, Fried Garlic, Fried Onions, Masago Next time I think I'll leave out the corn and one of the fried toppings. The corn made the bowl a whole new flavor and the fried toppings gave it a grimmy hard texture that was hard to chew. I usually get crab mix too but my bowl was already stacking so I thought it'd be too much and I was correct. Won't leave it out next time though. I went during their happy hour so the pricing was not bad at all for the amount I was served, super happy about that :)

Did a build your own and ordered: + White rice + Greens + Salmon, Spicy Tuna: Splashed eel sauce and spicy ponzu over the salmon + Cucumbers + Carrots + Tamago, torobiko, fried onions, fried garlic + Sauces on Top: Spicy mayo + Eel sauce NOTE TO SELF: Chill on the spicy, lol. Everyone else was complaining that their sauces weren't spicy enough. Welp, I guess they corrected that issue because my mouth was. On. Fire. I like a bit of spice, but daaayum lol. So yeah, note to self - put it on the side! Also ordered the Spam Musubi + Tamago (or egg). This was delicious. They glaze the spam with some kind of sweet sauce (maybe eel?), and it paired delightfully together. Will come back!

Food: I built my own regular sized bowl - not sure if I got hooked up cause I let the girl know it was my first time, but there was so much food in my bowl that the lid nearly popped off (the protein portion is pretty small though). I got half white rice half salad, spicy tuna and salmon tossed in ponzu, carrots, sweet onion, corn, and jalapenos with eel sauce and spicy mayo on the side. Everything is good, but the spicy mayo is not spicy at all and the eel sauce is like a bland paste rather than a sweet liquidy goodness. The fish looks like it's been left out all day, but tastes pretty fresh. I saw they had quite a few complaints about undercooked rice, but the rice was kinda mushy today. Environment: Pretty simple, nothing special. Although, it's a pretty open floor plan, it doesn't echo like many other places. Service: The girl fixing up my bowl was a sweetie! I let her know it was my first time and she was really patient and helpful.

Wow. This place has improved and is consistent now. Sushi rice is soft and not hard. Sauces are tasty. Fish doesn't smell fishy. Ingredients seem fresh. I have retried this place at least 5 more times. I believe they deserve the 5 stars now.

Chubby Tuna is AWESOME. The food is consistently fresh and amazing. I always get the Call Salmon Else with brown rice. My kids love the spam Musubi.

Open, nice, bright store. There were 2 employees present when I walked in and they greeted me asking if i has been there before and basic questions. They had a very nice customer service and they worked fast. I had a couple questions about the toppings and they were very nice and responsive without being rude at all. Great place!!

Fresh fish!! I got a chubby bowl with all salmon and the fish was really good. I docked a star for the sauce I got spicy ponzu and it wasn't spicy and it was really salty. Also, because the brown rice and white rice was dryyyy. Worth a try!! But not my all time favorite
