Been coming here since I was a kid and love it but, looks like they are Temporarily Closed. Hope they’ll open again sometime! So sad!
Burgers are great
This is my go to place for a burger. I had a patty melt today but usually go for the Texas Cheeseburger. 🍔 + 🍟 + 🥤 = 😋
Heard good things about this place and decided to make the 70 mile round-trip. Everything was a solid 7 (out of 10). Got a #10 cheeseburger, tater tots and onion rings. All good, not great. Definitely not worth another 70 mile jaunt, but I'd gladly go back if I were in the area.
The ambiance shows its 68 year existence, and, if you are a very large person, forget going to the Men's Room! (You'll see it when it comes by!)
I recommend but temper your expectations!
Absolutely perfect charburger; soft bun, crispy bacon, cheese melted just right, and the mug of root beer was the cherry on top. First time I've been here but will DEFINITELY not be the last!
Can't go wrong with that backyard taste
Some things are be as t left unchanged. Del's Charcoal Burgers is one of them. Serving Richardson since 1957, best burgers in town hands down.
My first time visiting. The owner is super nice and professional. My veggie burger was awesome. I liked how they cooked it on an open grill.
Terrible, rude service. Mediocre food. If you're looking for a greasy spoon hamburger joint from the 1950's with homemade root beer, you're much better off going to the Dairy-ette in east Dallas.
Excellent customer service and food

After years of passing by this place, today I decided I wanted to try it out. I ordered the Texas cheeseburger combo. One of the ABSOLUTELY BEST burgers I’ve ever had!! We will be coming back often. My girlfriend got the turkey burger and loved it as well.
Looking for a flavorful burger and some tots or onion rings or fries? You found it. The nostalgia that comes along with your meal is great. Put your phone away and enjoy the sights and smells and feeling of this small place. It’s always busy at lunch. I get the number 5 with cheese.
The burger and root beer float was decent. Not out of the world like people online hype it up to be. Not disappointed but I think I’ll stick with In-N-Out for the lower price and similar burger taste next time. Solid 4 stars.
The best burgers in dfw.
