The food is excellent, especially the burgers, and as far as the price is concerned, it’s fair. The service is fantastic, but the place is a bit small. It could get a lot bigger if they’d try to so we have enough room to move around.

I had to check this place out after reading a recommendation on Nextdoor and learning that about its historical roots. I ordered a cheeseburger (#10) and wife ordered a swiss mushroom cheeseburger and she was delighted (#16). The "private lot" is kind of small, but there are plenty of parking spots on the adjacent street. The burgers are perfect size (in my opinion) and the fries are the right portion, with none leftover after all is said and done. Honestly, I came for the root beer since I am a big root beer fan and I heard that the house root beer is made in-house. It definitely live up to the hype, although the serving is on the smaller size (refills are $0.50). We dined in at the heat of the lunch rush, found no outdoor tables but a table indoor freed up while we were waiting. Overall, everything at this restaurant was run smoothly and efficiently.
First time here, had the burger and onion rings, and the root beer. Really enjoyed it. Can’t wait to bring more of the family here.

I was told this was a great place for a hamburger and root beer. Both are just average, the root beer seems like regular root beer from the store, not fancy stuff like Henry Weinhard's. The burger was bland and was overpowered by mustard, reminds me of Whataburger restaurants the ones out of the hood that the food isn't that great. The buns are overly dry as well. It couls have been an off day for them but I've got limited time in the area so maybe next visit I'll try again!

Great burgers and chicken sandwich. I come here often after finding it a year ago. I love a great burger and I wish I had found this place earlier since I moved to Dallas 5 years ago. Wish they would expand to a larger place with larger dine in option, gets a bit crowded inside.
Love hole in the wall places, but this place takes the cake. Best burgers, and all of Dallas there’s a reason they’ve been around for so long! Would recommend anyone coming into town or any one wanting to try a new burger place, this will become your new favorite spot must try the Texas cheeseburger with their turkey bacon and a root beer float on the side!

It is a nice family owned restaurant. The root beer is very good for a home made brew. Hamburgers and other fan fare are cooked to order.
