The food is somewhat inconsistent in the quality- never undercooked but often overcooked. While the staff are friendly, some of them seem unwilling to accommodate the requests of students. And for some reason, they like to blast rave music from a speaker? The music choice changes from time to time, but the loud volume makes it very distracting when trying to just talk to other people. For UTD students, this is a less than average dining experience and an honestly disappointing...
No reason to hate on the food. If something doesn't seem good to you, don't grab it. That's it. They have so much variety that you'll always find something good.
The dining hall food was actually pretty good. There was a variety of food options from pizza, pasta, grill and salad bar. The desserts and drinks were ok; it's what you would expect at a dining hall.
