Dehab is the owner and she is amazing. She was so welcoming. First time eating Ethiopian food and everything was incredible. She recommended a dish for me and i couldn't have been happier. I definitely recommend this place.

The food is amazing everytime I go to Dire Dawa. The staff is nice and the restaurant is clean. I usually eat the vegetable platter and it is my favorite. Foodies and reviewers are sleeping on Dire Dawa.

Vegetarian options: A lot of Ethiopian food on the menu is traditionally vegetarian. I’m unsure about vegan options as I am not. The Veg platter has lentils for protein

First time coming in great food great service definitely suggests giving a try you will not be disappointed!!! Had lamb wt rice & a vegetarian plate, Good portions left full and satisfied.

RUINED a senior woman;s birthday. Tried to overcharge us and what I thought was in budget went 40.00 over. .Would not honor a groupon. Groupon is currently fighting them as it turns out they were in the wrong. Turned a birthday for a senior citizen into a stressful nightmare. Despite owner telling server to honor, the owner walked off and the server still cahrge me TWICE what the Groupon people said she should have-and this is after her trying to charge me for a dish we had to sernd back for a kid. DO NOT GO HERE!

I love this restaurant. The food is the best and most authentic of all Ethiopian restaurants in Dallas. The food is consistently delicious. So, you can eat and enjoy knowing the next time it will be made the same way. The prices are appropriate as the food is worth every penny. Now, the owner is a wonderful person all around who cares about food quality and brings the flavors I know from visiting Ethiopia's best . The food here is better than any Ethiopian restaurant I've experienced in several US cities including Chicago, Houston, and even better than the great dining in Washington, D.C. I have been a regular customer for over 2 years. So, go see what I'm talking about for yourself.
