We were just visiting the area and looked for coffee shops online. We choose Island Coffee bc we were pleased with their tea selection. My husband got hot tea with the Earl Grey loaf and I had a cold brew with the bacon cheddar scone. Evening was delicious! I also got a bag of coffee beans that I'm looking forward to trying.The barista that helped us had such a great personality--he was friendly, chatting, very helpful in giving advice on which pastry he recommended, very knowledgeable and we noticed he called many of the other customers by name as they walked in.We hope to come back someone when we're in town again!

Atmosphere is ruined by all the people sitting there on their laptops. Get an office and take your coffee to go. Instead, the shop blares unholy jazz that is super annoying, probably in a bid to rid the infestation of remote workers. As a result, this place is ruined. But then my drink was finally ready... unfortunately the guy making drinks was so slow. What I got for my wait was a sloppy cappuccino with no foam. I asked for a small cap, paid $11 for that and a scone, didn't enjoy anything. I won't be back, so don't worry. First impression is the only impression.

This is a must visit coffee shop!!!! It is so cute! There is a good amount of seating inside but there is also the cutest covered patio with string lights! The coffee was pretty good, kind of expensive but still good. All the baristas were very friendly and the place was cutely decorated and clean. I can’t wait to go back!

Beautiful coffee art! They made my dirty chai perfectly, and their vegan strawberry pop tart was AMAZING! Staff is super friendly and helpful, and the inside is chic and comfortable. Lots of people in on a mid-Thursday morning either working or studying. We've gotten their Ethiopian-originated coffee beans several times to make at home and have always been happy with the quality. But I love the atmosphere here, I'll definitely be back!

I love this place! The pastries are seriously DELICIOUS and the coffee is amazing. It’s a little pricy but it’s because the quality of the food and beverages are significantly above average. I go to coffee shops all the time to study or work so I’ve had my fair share of decent lattes and pastries, but this place is my new favorite. It can’t be beat! And everyone is so nice. The patio is lovely too even during the cold months!
