This is our first time at Good Union, but it won't be our last, for sure! The food was spectacular. I got the Pig Mountain Sandwich (5 Stars in my book), and my wife ordered the Lady Bird Salad. She loved the taste of the chicken, as well as the combination of mango and cheese. The owner took our order, and he said we were going to love it; he was right. We were there during the Texas/OU game, so the ambiance was great! We’re definitely coming back.

Omg! Yummy! I absolutely loved the cornbread - best I think I’ve ever eaten! I also loved the turkey, Mac & Cheese, and the banana pudding. So delicious 😋 I will be back! I think this is my new favorite BBQ place!

Food and customer service is great. Brisket is always tender . Staff always friendly and professional . Establishment always clean. Highly recommend getting different variations on the bbq sauce. Sweeter , thicker and or spicy version would be great additions to go along with their tender meats!🙌🏾

Picked up a pound and a half of brisket and a half pound of sausage and burnt ends on Sunday. This was at the recommendation of a family member. I honestly have to say this is the absolute driest brisket I’ve ever tasted in my life. It’s almost like the brisket was prepared in advance (maybe not in a smoker) and re-heated in the oven. I just don’t understand how a barbecue restaurant can make brisket that is so dry and overcooked. Also, the brisket was very bland lacking any flavor and absolutely had no reasonable amount of char whatsoever. The burnt ends were decent and the sausage was OK. Service was friendly.
I would love to have a response from the owner on how they are preparing brisket on Sundays that is so dry. Honestly I should’ve had better judgment when I walked into the restaurant and didn’t see a lot of people eating there at lunchtime.
This is a very disappointing because it’s $120 wasted on really poor quality food (receipt shown below).
Great place for good BBQ. The meats had great smoke flavor and the sides were on point. The only reason for the 4 star rating on the food was due to the brisket being on the dry side.

Stopped by for a quick bite before a meeting and ended up with a stomach ache. I had the brisket nachos and withing 2 hours started to get some crazy heartburn. Later on during dinner I could hardly eat because of the stomach ache. At the time the nachos didn't taste bad but the aftermath said otherwise. I hope this was a one off.

I got the sliced brisket sandwich, cole slaw, and a soda. The brisket and bun had a great flavor. However, the cole slaw was pretty bland. I liked how they served Maine Root soda instead of your typical brands.
I also had an old fashioned from the bartend, Jackie. She was very friendly and served up a strong drink.
The outside sitting area was very pleasant.
