Your pretty much paying $12 for mainly rice which kinda feels like a scam, the meat is good quality but they give so little in your order that you don't feel satisfied and their Mack and cheese had really good flavor but for some reason they serve it ice cold which should be illegal, tried it, disappointed won't be back, and unless you really really like rice I'd save your money.

First of all, when you walk in they hand you a menu, with no prices. When I mentioned that their menu had no prices, they apologized and said they were a franchise and the franchise did that on purpose. (What is the marketing strategy there????). I like to see what I am paying before i get a surprise at the cash register. The only utensils they have are plastic forks, so good luck cutting your meats. Two of us got ice tea as a drink and it definitely is not brewed. It had a funny taste to it -- awful. In addition, when I asked if they had any sweet & low or other sweeteners, they apologized and said that they did not provide sweeteners. Finally, they have three sizes; small, classic and large. The small is pretty small, so I would recommend the classic. The large is too expensive. On the plus side, the food was good; however, there are too many good restaurants in the Richardson and Dallas area that have excellent food without having to deal with the aforementioned annoyances or inconveniences. In fact there is a Aloha Chicken and Shrimp right down the street on Campbell that is run by a Hawaiian family that I will opt for instead.

I am literally shocked this place has so many good reviews. The wife and I tried this place hoping for the best, turned out to be so gross. The food was tasteless and cold. Way too much rice, and what is with that cold macaroni salad. Oh man, the only thing good about this place was the Dole soft serve. And even that they forgot to give me. So I had to pound on the window to get them to give me the rest of my order. Maybe its because its a new location and they just don't have their act together yet...Or maybe its that Hawaiian food really is gross. I'm not willing to try again. Ugh. Aloha!

My husband went for the first time in person a few days ago but he enjoyed his experience! His server, Christina, made it clear what options there were and the differences between each sizes in the chicken dishes. We’ve had the Huli Huli chicken which is always great, but this time he had the large Kilauea chicken dish. It was supposed to be their spicier dish but didn’t have much of a kick to it. Also, he got the large thinking it would be more chicken but it was really only more portions for the size. Shrinkflation hits all.Either way, Christina was a great server, attentive and responsive and helped out with any questions he had. It’s a clean restaurant and they have kiosks to order on your own. This place was so amazing! I loved all the food and the calm and clean atmosphere. I came here after a busy day, so this was an amazing way to reclaim and unwind. Everyone there was SO sweet, the staff was incredible. Christian was so nice & sweet!
