OK - been going to this establishment for many, many years. watched it grow and mature. 1st, the good things - the place has been repainted on the inside (not sure when); but, it is fresh and bright. the service is attentive and quick. the food prep is quick out of the kitchen. the flavor of the dishes is consistent and fairly well seasoned. now - the not-so-good things - on our 4/20/24 visit - the salsa has lost its kick...good, but, no burn or fire...just tomatoey. big issue - the establishment took it upon itself to round up my tip to the next whole $$$ instead of what I'd entered. this seems to be a game being played in the Dallas / Addison / Richardson market where servers are playing with the final tip being charged to your account is greater than what the customer intends and writes on the ticket. i keep my copy of the receipt and i do check my accounts daily taking note of which places screw me and which don't. i've challenged some changes with my bank/credit card for refund or rejection and choose to just leave some alone and pledge to never visit them again. i know that 1 household never returning doesn't impact the operation; but, just be aware that your ticket may be changed after you go home.

2024 Update.The quality of ingredients has really declined in the last 7 years.Previous to this last visit, the food was good. However, this last meal was simply awful. I had ordered a rather simple quesadilla. When it arrived the tortilla exterior was dry and tasted like a salt less cracker. Then I tried the fajita beef. It was horrible. The texture was fine, but it had an offputting taste that I couldn't get past and it completely ruined the meal for me. They did offer me something else, but after that, I didn't want anything else.I'm not telling you to stay away, but I won't be back.

One of the best Mexican food places we’ve tried since moving to the area. At our table we had tacos, enchiladas, seafood and everyone was pleased. The portions were plenty and we took plenty in a to-go box! The chips and salsa were good and the margaritas were good enough to get a second. The prices a definitely reasonable and we’ll happily be returning.

The food is excellent. I particularly enjoy their crispy tacos and the cheese enchiladas. Service is excellent. There is very little waiting in time before your order is taken and your food is delivered. The ambience of holy Frijoles is very simple. It provides for more than satisfactory dining experience.

The food was almost good despite the inflated prices the last time I went before last. Way to say you have given up. If that's the case, sell your company to someone who actually cares about quality and profits as a direct result.

Service was fast. Cool little place. Seems to be a local favorite. Went there on a Friday night and food was delicious. Chips and salsa were very fresh. Margarita was so-so. Overall, if you haven't been here, definitely give it a try.

Wonderful restaurant! The food comes out super fast, even on a Saturday night! Delicious enchiladas!!
My mom and I are from out of town. Just here to see a doctor. We were hungry and decided on Mexican food. It's kind of our go to. So I searched and found this little Gem. It's a nice small restaurant. 2 men working. Ludin and Luis. Ludin was our server, who immediately served salsa and black beans with chips. Which I have to say were delicious. We always order Cheese Enchiladas. Everywhere we go. But these blew everything out of the water!! Service was awesome. The Strawberry Margarita was delicious. (My mom can't finish a whole one (16oz) so we said something about sharing it and they brought it out to us already in our own glass. If I didn't have to drive an hour away I'd order another one!)We will definitely be back for the great service and even better food!!Parking: I parked at the door.Wheelchair accessibility: No curb in front of building.

Phenomenal Tex-Mex! This is my favorite little hole in the wall restaurant. The food is amazing, and they have happy hour drink specials. This place is absolutely worth a visit.

Service was excellent! We ordered the brisket quesadillas and fajita nachos they both came out fast and hot. The taste was not all there, it was lacking flavor. Though, we did like the black beans and chips. The salsa was very mild and had no kick to it .
