Went there for the 1st time last Saturday. The service and the food were both excellent. Amber was on top of everything and was very knowledgable about the menu items. Husband had a ‘skillet’ breakfast and I had the granola/berry French toast. We left very little food and we didn’t need much to eat afterwards. The food was filling and kept us going until late afternoon. I recommend this restaurant and will be back! Highland Village Texas location
My family and I decided to try Honey Berry Pancakes & Café for the first time today for breakfast, and unfortunately, it was a disappointing experience from start to finish. Upon entering, there was a noticeable wait before we could even attempt to place an order. Our waitress, Tatiana, eventually came over and asked if we wanted drinks. I declined and proceeded to ask questions about the menu and a special they had. I explained that I wasn’t interested in the house special since it contained meat and an omelette, and asked if they had a similar special without those items. Tatiana’s response was rude, dismissive, and visibly irritated. The level of unprofessionalism and poor customer service was shocking. My family and I decided not to dine there due to how uncomfortable we felt. However, before leaving, I stopped at the front desk to report the incident and was met by Raven, the operations manager. To my disbelief, she was just as dismissive and unpleasant as Tatiana. For a first-time visit, it was a truly poor experience, and we do not plan to return. If you’re looking for a welcoming, customer-oriented dining experience, this is not the place. It’s unfortunate that in today’s world, where human interaction is increasingly being replaced by automated systems, some individuals still choose to treat paying customers with such disregard. Prayers for the team – they may need it more than they realize. Downtown Chicago on State Street!
Unsettling Experience at Honey Berry Pancakes & Café – Lansing, IL Today after church, my husband and I visited Honey Berry Pancakes & Café in Lansing, excited to enjoy brunch together. I approached the front counter to ask how long the wait would be for a booth and whether I needed to leave a name. The hostess politely said it would be about 15 minutes and that we could simply wait—no name required. As I moved toward the waiting area, several customers in line suddenly began confronting me. I was accused of skipping the line and was told loudly and aggressively to “shut up.” I calmly explained that I had just spoken to the staff, but the group continued to berate me. When I tried to ask the restaurant a clarifying question, the verbal attacks escalated. I was publicly humiliated, and the situation was made worse by the fact that no staff member stepped in to address the hostility or support a peaceful guest trying to follow the process. My husband and I chose to leave. I was shaking in the car and broke down in tears. This wasn’t just a poor dining experience—it was a deeply upsetting moment that could have been prevented or softened with staff attentiveness and basic human decency. I sincerely hope management takes steps to ensure that the front-of-house staff monitor these situations better and are empowered to step in when guests are being treated unfairly. I share this review not out of anger, but out of hope that no one else has to feel the way I did in a place meant to bring comfort and joy.
I had a moment to have an alone date, and I decided to try this spot! Man it was so cute and delicious! I am so glad I stopped in for breakfast! I will be back!
The staff is very nice and the food and the service is excellent
My family loves Honey Berry!! We always get great service, food is always delicious, and price is amazing for the amount of food that you get . Recommend it 100%!
Always a favorite. Go to website to enter waitlist in advance of arrival. Service excellent, portions large, kitchen is slow so be patient

Always nice to find a spot that doesn’t use the cheap canned corned beef hash mix. Nice server (didn’t catch his name, short black hair). I’m not particularly a fan of eggs, I appreciate the reasonable flexibility to customize things a bit for me. I’m sure I’ll end up coming back!

I had a very disappointing experience at this restaurant. The service was incredibly slow—at one point, we had to wait over 10 minutes just for a side of bacon, which should have been quick and simple and another 10-15 min just for the check. The staff didn’t seem to care much. I wouldn’t recommend coming here if you value good service.

Worst service, food, and management; chipped plate, gnats, and roach. Brought this to the supervisor on duty’s attention and she couldn’t care less. Need I say more.

I give 4 stars for having a few different options alone. I believe this is a new location of the brunch chain. Came with my fiancé on a Sunday at about 11. I used Yelp to get on the waitlist before we headed over, which I recommend doing because it ended up being a 40 minutes wait in total. Our water was on it and our food came out fairly quickly for how busy it was. I got the vegan hash which was good and I took about half home to go. I wanted home fries on the side, but they were out of them so they gave me hash browns instead, which ended up being way too much hash lol. Anyway i will likely return when in the mood for something like that. I’m interested to try the tofu sammie as well. Update: I returned and tried the tofu sandwich. I decided to get a side of sweet potato fries. The sandwich was okay, but did not beat the hash. And the fries were not cooked all the way. The “honey berry sauce” that it comes with is a sweet strawberry syrup that doesn’t make sense with the sandwich at all. Updated from previous review on 2024-11-04

Had breakfast today here for the first time and was disappointed at the quality of the food ? bar tender told me if I would have ordered a signature item it would have been better.
