Taela was our server, and she was incredibly personable and attentive. For me, great service is just as important, if not more important, than the food. The food here is outstanding, but the service was even better.
What really sets this place apart is the personal touch. It's rare to find a manager who walks around, greets guests, and actually remembers your name. We've only been here a couple of times, and she already knew mine. That level of hospitality makes the restaurant feel like home.
We've been in the area for the past seven months and have truly enjoyed coming here. Unfortunately, we're heading back to Galveston, but this restaurant will definitely be on our list of places to visit when we're back in town. Highly recommended!

Below average food, outrageously priced. Good server, though.

I visited with a friend and her two children (ages 1 and 2). Our server was very friendly and accommodating, and we were enjoying both our meal and the overall experience. However, toward the end of our visit, we were approached by someone I later learned was a manager, Renee.
Renee informed us that she had received complaints about the children. It’s worth noting that the restaurant provides highchairs and welcomes families with young children. The kids were behaving like typical toddlers—they were not crying or causing any disruption beyond what would reasonably be expected from children their age.
At the time, it was around 2:00 p.m., and the restaurant was not particularly busy, as it was nearing its 2:30 p.m. closing time. What was disappointing was not that a concern was brought to our attention, but the way it was handled. Rather than offering a solution or approaching the situation with understanding, Renee came across as though she simply wanted the children to be quiet for the benefit of other guests.
The interaction left us feeling uncomfortable and unwelcome, which unfortunately overshadowed what had otherwise been a very enjoyable meal. We spoke with our server afterward, and she was extremely kind, apologetic, and professional.
I appreciate the excellent service we received from our server, but the manager’s approach significantly impacted our experience.
Vanessa, she's the best, don't change, beautiful.

First timer! Made a reservation online for 10 people. Arrived at the restaurant today at 10:30 a.m. (to provide context, the place was not too busy) We were turned away because “they weren’t allowed to combine tables to accommodate a party of 10” We asked why the online system went through for booking a party of 10… and both hosts said they don’t know why and basically they couldn’t help us. We were surprised by this response because there were plenty of empty 4 top tables on the patio that could accommodate us. They offered to seat us at completely seperate tables…so ridiculous. Needless to say, our experience was not great from the jump so we left and we won’t be back.
Amazing love the place a bit crowded

Food is great, restaurant is beautiful, but the service is horrible. Don’t come here unless you have all day and want to be treated like you are a nuisance.

Huge very pricey servings of very mediocre food. Menu is too huge. They need to concentrate on food quality of a more selective menu. Size does not mean good quality. Chicken breast tough. Mushroom omelet dry. Huge pot of hot water with one tea bag. Try to up quality please. No one eats that much of mediocre food. I want to add that my mimosa was perfect, my acai bowl was awfully sweet to me (and HUGE, of course)but my first time having acai, so not certain what they usually are like. The fruit on top was very fresh. I brought half home and added mixed nuts on top and it was more to my taste. I think those in our party who had eggs , toast, bagels, pancakes did enjoy their food. The waitress, Melissa, was nice and fairly efficient, but we (a group of picky older people) were a bit much for her to be really warm with us. She needed an assistant, I think. We seniors can be a huge pain. I've been there 3 times now, and will go back. I'll stick with the simple standard items though.
