This is a Chinese restaurant, similar to Sichuan and Yang cuisine, not a Taiwanese restaurantThe beef noodle soup is on the sour side, not sweet, at least not to the southern taste. The noodles only have udon noodles and vermicelli, no white or yellow noodles.Xiaolongbao is delicious

1st time to visit them. We ordered a bunch of items and shared it "family style". Friend ordered so I'm not positive I'm naming everything correctly but we had: curry noodles (had a peanut sauce), curry dumplings, egg drop soup, chicken broccoli, and Mongolian beef. Everything was very good and I'll definitely go there again!

Place is decent. Honestly, its a little too hyped up though. I miss Caravell, which used to be in this shopping center. Now that was some bangin' chinese food. The crispy duck I had was pretty bad. It hardly had any meat on it and was majority fat/cartilage. Pretty disappointing. The hot and sour soup was way too watery and ruiny. The orange chicken was excellent though.

We went there for dinner with friends. It is a very located restaurant with a bar. The food was delicious and the service was very good. The owner brought us two free desserts, which were made by their pastry chef. They were also delicious.

Second time at this resturant, very disappointed. Had pork with green pepper - extremely greasy with the fattest pork ever...horrible. Upon leaving, I asked the host to get the manager and he said he was "in the back" and never tried to get him. I brought 2 other guests but will not recommend or go back. Clearly lacking customer service.

Absolutely phenomenal food! We were hungry so the pictures were taken after we all started eating ? We ate family style so we all got to try the combo fried noodles, chicken fried rice, orange chicken, pork wonton soup, juicy pork dumplings, pan fried chicken and zucchini dumplings, and egg rolls. Everything was cooked perfectly and was very flavorful. Highly recommended!

U will not be disappointed. House made dumpings. Where amazing. Just went to eat dumpings. Food that was coming out the kitchen was steaming hot and big portions. It was a drive. Like 45 min. But it was worth every bit. Be back soon for the rest of the Menu.

Service was good, attentive and easy going! Their ambience isn't anything crazy, just regular shmegular, they were blasting the AC so it was a little chilly.Their shrimp and pork dumplings had good filling ratio, but I would say their dumpling wrappers for both regular dumplings and XLB (soup dumplings) are on the thicker side. The scallion pancakes were good and crispy but not much flavor. The hot and sour soup was good, good amount of sour!Follow @aanthonyate on Instagram for more DFW eats!

We were referred to this restaurant by a family member and could not have been more impressed for the perfect Sunday lunch. The service was impeccable and so kind, quick to attend and overall quite a pleasure. The atmosphere and restaurant itself is beautiful and perfect for a family celebration. The food was quite amazing. The menu offered quite popular items and left us wanting to try more for next. I recommend started with jasmine tea to sooth before the meal. We ordered the crispy fish with garlic sauce which was amazingly textured with great flavor. We also got the chicken dumplings which had a great dumpling wrapper taste, could be more flavorful with the filling. And we also ordered the Chinese style cumin lamb which was quite savory and paired well with delicious peppers. Will be coming back!

Jeng Chi is my go-to Chinese restaurant in DFW. I am always sure to bring friends who are visiting from out of town. Everything is consistently cooked to perfection.

Jeng Chi has been a staple in the DFW area for decades. I’ve been coming here since. I was a kid. Unfortunately this past weekend was a disappointment. Tried celebrating a birthday there and the waiter said there’s a $2 charge for every person since we bought our own cake.We cancelled our reservation and left angry. Loved the food there but will not be going back again because of their new business policy.

The dumplings here are so good, and you can watch them being made in the back. The main dishes and soups are good, but we go here for the dumplings.
