I ordered a drink with less sugar and when I tried it, it was so sweet it was basically inedible. I told the clerk and she tried to explain it away without offering a solution. And then she whispered something or other. I was done at that point. I just left the cup on the table when it was time to leave. Nope, not going back. That was a waste of $9.

We love going to Junbi because it's one of the very few places that offer high-quality matcha drinks. Some people complain about the pricing, and I was one of them before, but I learned that good matcha is pricey, so I would gladly pay every time.I got the Lavendar Honey Matcha Cold Brew with Vanilla Cold Cap. The taste is comparable to the oatmilk lavendar matcha at Starbucks. However, the matcha taste is more flavorful and not overpowered. There's a nicer balance I this drink, and it's not overly sweet. The drink overall is fleshing and smooth.I would come again for their lavender series and maybe try their soft serve. ?

i believe this location has gone through a owner change (could be wrong) after the service and quality had been consistently worsening after the first few months of their opening date, but i had stopped coming here for nearly a year, then decided to give them a second try. first revisit last month was fantastic and drinks were amazing. i thought junbi was finally back and reflecting the LA locations great rep. but the last 3 visits since february have been so bad and uninviting that i dont think i can bring my support to junbi ever again.drinks are always a hit or miss, some employees eyeball measurements which makes flavor and quality inconsistent— often the milk serving. my drinks are always made so milky that they appear close to white and they’re extremely hesitant to remake or refund drinks for you.there is no one ever present up front. just conversing in the back room until someone decided to walk out and check for customers.terrible attitude problem with all the baristas, like they’re forced to be there. this girl who appears to be white and in her teens is always in a bad mood with non existent customer service skills.i used to be a junbi customer upwards of 4 times a week when they opened, and im glad there are still people with good experiences walking through and out their door, but when that’s 1 in maybe 5 there is still improvement and training that needs to be addressed in their team.

Good matcha. Taro series wasn’t impressive. Empty inside of the ice cream.

no more hojita ice cream, service lady/girl attitude is not professional, kind of rude, matcha is great like usual!

My boyfriend and I's favorite boba place in Richardson - we've been going to Junbi since they opened. All of the drinks are worth trying; we love the strawberry matcha and madagascar vanilla matcha. On the other hand, the service is always a hit or miss but the last time we went, one of the young ladies was so sweet and helpful when I wanted to try something new.

They have a wide selection of flavored matcha milk teas, which can be fun. There are also cold brews and small snacks you can grab. The ambiance is nice and there's a bunch of cute decorations scattered throughout the place. They do charge $1.25 if you swap the dairy with oat milk, which is a bit pricey in my opinion. I ended up paying $10 for a strawberry matcha latte, so overall, this shop is a bit more expensive than other boba shops I've been to.

Everything on their menu tastes better than Starbucks, it's cheaper and you get more. It's a very nice alternative that I like very much.Edit: they lost a star because their prices went up substantially a while back and their service could be better. Their employees just hang out in the back room either chatting or on their phones and only come out after you have been standing there a bit. Which, honestly is fine! The problem is when they come out you're going to feel like you're annoying them. I've felt like a nuisance more than a few times and I gotta say, I don't love that. All that said their drinks are still unique and delicious so if you're a little standoffish yourself and money is no object you're gonna love it.Dietary restrictions: Oat milk available but more than someone should have to pay to not poop their pants.

Cute matcha shop with nice interior to do work or homework. Originally found this place after getting the matcha latte from La La Love next door which was way too milky. The matcha here is strong and flavorful with lots of different menu options.
