Not great just bar food. Big selection with breakfast all day. Sandwiches much smaller than expected but taste was good. Hamburgers a bit overcooked. No mayo mustard offered. Male waiter was nice. We had to go up front to get ticket. Pleasant atmosphere but not good place for non smoker as the non smoking still had smell of smoke. Pool tables in smoking area and full bar. Prices were OK some stuff was higher than neighboring cafes. Regulars seemed to eat breakfast and Mexican.

The Lakeside is a slow paced, take your time restaurant with quality food. If you want it fast then go to McDonald's. We've been coming here for three years now and have gotten to know the staff. Of all the places I've eaten, from Anchorage to Destin to Montreal to San Diego I've never come across a nicer person than Roz. I'll actually call a head to make sure she's working.
