This place is awesome. Stopped in on a Saturday evening for the first time.

The drinks were well made & delicious! I got the Bees Knees and Cool as a Cucumber. Both very refreshing with just enough of a kick. The price was right on the spot for the quality of the drink. Problem with a lot of places is they'll cheap out on the alcohol or water it down. Lockwood gives you your money's worth, enjoyed it a lot!

And the food was great too. Had the chicken tenders which came with tater tots and mac & cheese. All of it, really really good.

Staff was very attentive and friendly too. Our waitress made sure to check in often and did a very good job!

Overall a great time at Lakewood and looking forward to going back soon :)

My only issue was the COMEBACK CRACKERS on the GRAZING BOARD. They literally obliterated the flavor of anything and everything on the board. A great cheese board will have neutral crackers that do not take away from the meat, cheese and components of the charcuterie board.
All of the other ingredients and items fantastic sans the cracker.
The wait staff and atmosphere are top notch and I will definitely be back. My daughter and I sampled a variety of specialty items on the drink menu and while some didn’t suit our preferences, the quality and value was superb.

We went Sunday to check out the new OHB.. it was very crowded and the barbecue food truck ran out of food.. We walked over to Lockwood distilleries and had the best brunch the best spicy bloody Mary's and got to try a flight of rums
. it was amazing , also enjoyed talking to people at tables around us... We will definitely be back to go on a tour and buy some of the yummy rum that we tasted

Stopped in for a random lunch one Monday since I had a delivery nearby and heard a rumor the food was amazing. The rumor was right. The house burger was incredible!! The servers are next-level nice which means that even though I’m not an alcohol drinker, I’ll definitely be back (and frequently). 10/10 recommend.

The best pastrami sandwich in Dallas! Plus our server, Blake was phenomenal. Thank you so much! Been looking for delicious pastrami and now I've found it. Also, the tots with the jalapeno ranch was 🤤 We will definitely be back. It might become a problem 😂

Stopped here on the way to a wedding reception to grab a pre-drink and it was perfect.
The vibes and space are well thought of to accommodate different crowds. From sitting outdoor to hug tables and chair and regular dinning.
We sat at the bar and they were pretty busy., this was a Saturday evening. Still we got greeted and welcomed and served water in a timely manner.
The bartender told us about their menu and answered some questions we had about their Menu.
In our opinion the cocktails were a tad bit too sweet but good.
They have a big Menu to chose from. In this occasion we only had a drink but will definitely return to try out their food.
We also enjoyed the live Music 🎶👌

Let’s get this out of the way first—Lockwood Distilling Co. has solid food and drinks. Their pastrami sandwich is a standout, and the bourbon cream is worth a sip. The atmosphere is lively, and the staff is friendly. But here’s where things go downhill fast: the seating is a complete disaster. The metal chairs are cold, rigid, and unapologetically uncomfortable, practically designed to make you want to leave quickly rather than settle in for a meal. After just a few minutes, I started fidgeting, shifting, and desperately searching for relief, spoiler alert, there isn’t any. No padding, harsh angles, and a hard, unforgiving frame make them more suited for a prison cafeteria than a place meant for leisure.
The overall experience? A battle between great flavors and unforgiving furniture. If you value comfort while you sip and eat, Lockwood might not be worth the fight

First Last

We stood at the front for over 10 minutes, where people continued to gather. I watched several employees look over and never acknowledge any of us. The live music seemed nice, but that was the extent of my experience. To me, this is indicative of how the rest of my experience would go. I will not be back, which is a shame because I was excited to try this place.

We walked in on a Monday, not knowing they were closed. The manager STILL welcomed us in and made us some drinks to go! Who does that? NOBODY. The place is SUPER cute. Cool vibe… and the drinks… AMAZING! The hibiscus lemonade was SO refreshing and the espresso martini… the BEST I’ve EVER had! I could have walked away with a gallon of it! If you haven’t been, GET THERE! You are definitely missing out. We’re from the Houston area but we will definitely make our way back. ??

This was a cool laid-back spot to grab a quick bite to eat. My server was super friendly and attentive, just how I like them. :-) She kept the drinks coming. Which were all good.

I had the Frose. It was a typical Frose. It was cold and refreshing.

My friend suggested that I try their Rum Flight. It had four rums that were all delicious. My favorite was the pineapple flavor.

I started things off with the Deviled Eggs. They were fine. Creamy and not dry. I loved the bologna bits that were on top. It was a nice touch. Surprisingly, I really enjoyed the greens underneath the eggs. The dressing was zesty but light. I may order a salad on my next visit just to get those greens again. ☺️.

I had the Crawfish Monica for my entree. It was a tasty, spicy, cheesy pasta with crab. There was lots of flavor. I enjoyed it. The portion size was satisfactory.

My friend had the Smoked Chicken sandwich, and I was able to sample it. It was good. I will probably have that the next time that I go.

Please check out Lockwood Distilling Company. It’s great for happy hour or a meal.

I recently discovered this establishment and am delighted that I stopped by. The venue is impeccably clean, and the staff are exceptionally friendly. Their Smash burger is, without a doubt, the best I’ve encountered in the downtown Mckinney area. I highly recommend this place!
