As a mother, sometimes it's a little stressful to go out to a restaurant with your baby, but the waitresses were so loving to him! And my baby loved that

If you’re looking for an authentic Japanese restaurant, this is the place. I’m not sure why there are some negative reviews. Many so-called Japanese restaurants in the DFW area are heavily influenced by American or Korean styles, with little that truly sets them apart. But this spot offers something genuinely Japanese, from the flavors to the menu. Don’t take what they serve here for granted . it’s rare to find this level of authenticity. Great service, great food, and a great atmosphere. Keep up the good work!

We came on a Tuesday evening with no reservation and were seated immediately. Our server was very friendly and really helpful in explaining the menu items. We ordered the tonkotsu ramen, curry (not pictured), agedashi tofu, and the crispy rice.

I was really disappointed with this place. The sushi was not fresh (all kinds) — the sweet shrimp had a strange smell and texture. When I brought it up to the staff, they only offered a partial refund of the sweet shrimp. On top of that, the restaurant was uncomfortably hot, making the whole experience even worse. Come here if you want to be disappointed.

It's OK but not the same as their location in Irving. They don't have many of the more traditional items such as a whole shima aji sashimi or other special fish cuts. This location is catered more towards the fried chicken / katsu / spicy mayonnaise type of crowd.

i just got back from Japan but i remembered 2 years ago i couldnt get into this spot on my birthday because of their 3 person reservation rule. i fail to understand what that system is attempting to prioritize, the system doesn't care for the most common use case and the common customer. it's not a honest way to accomplish full seats for a restaurant that failed to design properly for the most common use case and it forces the customer to jump through cruel and unusual standards in order to comply. as a designer i find it gross. as a designer who just got back from Bird Land, Jiro, Teamlab, and Kokodera, this reservation system is reprehensible. Michelin places don't even act this way, you can tell what kind of system you're looking at.

It's the first time I come, I wanted to order to take away, there are still 28 minutes to close the restaurant, they tell me that the kitchen is closed, I think it's a lack of respect that they make me come to waste my time, I would never eat here because of their bad service.

This place is a total gem and I highly recommend it. We had such a fun and cozy dinner here. The food was amazing, and we loved the chill vibes. Our server Le was super friendly and attentive. He recommended us some good dishes and we really appreciated it.
