We recently visited Nico's Mexican Restaurant and were pretty disappointed. The food was just okay and didn't have much flavor, and the margaritas were far too tart to enjoy. What made the experience worse was the service — we found ourselves repeatedly looking for our waiter, and it took far too long to get basic attention throughout the meal. Unfortunately, this visit missed the mark for us, and we don't plan to return.

Good food, great atmosphere, great service (Jack is our favorite, but all of the servers are great). We are there every Wednesday—$6 margaritas and tasty food. Nico’s Special is the way to go—delicious plate of food and plenty to take home. The carnitas and brisket tacos are also great. Big fan of the beef fajitas—tastes like they incorporate pineapple juice into the marinade that gives the flavor an unexpected boost. The patio is the place to be in Spring and Autumn.

Ordered delivery. Received over cooked dry chicken fajitas with no flour tortillas. How do you eat fajitas with no tortillas! I asked for no sour cream and they sent it anyway. Highly allergic to it so anything that it touched i had to throw away. Enchiladas had a bad after taste. Been ordering food from here for years. Not sure what happened, but they are awful now! Waste of my hard earned money!!

Not too big, with great outdoor patio to sit and watch the late afternoon world go by. Nachos, guacamole and chicken fajita enchiladas are my favorite. Service is excellent.

The food was good. Wings were not cooked done. Other food was excellent. They were focused on setting up for the next day, not too much interaction with staff. No one acknowledged our reservation. They said just grab a seat when we walked in. Overall, nice clean reservation with great food. Will not order wings in future.

I also used Nico’s Cantina for catering to a function of the KD Consrvatory . It was spectacular plenty of food and great service for a very reasonable price . I had an opportunity to visit Nico’s Tex-Mex Cantina the staff was very welcoming and little wait time when we arrived. The chile rellenos with raisins and pecans we amazing and one of a kind. We also had the queso, Bob’s dip, and fajita nachos and they had the perfect amount of flavor and spice. While we were there my wife had a margarita and they are very generous with the alcohol and inexpensive. Nico’s brings bold taste, genuine hospitality, and a great selection of Tex-Mex dishes. We will definitely try them again!!
