We recently visited Nico's Mexican Restaurant and were pretty disappointed. The food was just okay and didn't have much flavor, and the margaritas were far too tart to enjoy. What made the experience worse was the service — we found ourselves repeatedly looking for our waiter, and it took far too long to get basic attention throughout the meal. Unfortunately, this visit missed the mark for us, and we don't plan to return.
Good food, great atmosphere, great service (Jack is our favorite, but all of the servers are great). We are there every Wednesday—$6 margaritas and tasty food.
Nico’s Special is the way to go—delicious plate of food and plenty to take home. The carnitas and brisket tacos are also great.
Big fan of the beef fajitas—tastes like they incorporate pineapple juice into the marinade that gives the flavor an unexpected boost.

Not too big, with great outdoor patio to sit and watch the late afternoon world go by. Nachos, guacamole and chicken fajita enchiladas are my favorite.
