A Family business where food is made with love…the quality of food, the presentation, the welcoming owners, the cleanliness and the qualified and fast service were more than enough to let us feel home food and definitely will be always our first choice for a Mediterranean cuisine…thank you so much for the wonderfull experience….please keep it up?

We were very excited to try this restaurant for the first time, but we’re disappointed. The atmosphere inside is very informal and not impressive. The food was OK, not great, and very overpriced especially side dishes like hummus and tabouli. The menu is also very, very limited. The service was the best part of the restaurant. We will not return to the restaurant again.

Their food was absolutely finger licking good! The chicken is so tender and moist that it falls off the bone. It’s so well seasoned. So perfect! The Arabic shawarma sandwich was so good, that I couldn’t stop myself from eating even though I was full. Even In my nap, I kept dreaming about how good the food was. The people were so nice. I need to come back to Texas again and eat everything off the menu.

INCREDIBLE food! The waitress we had was extremely kind and this is also a family owned business run by extremely kind people who take pride in their establishment. Highly recommend trying this place to all my foodies out there.

The lamb mandi is absolutely delicious! Nice decor too, nice and trendy interior with lounge seats along the wall. Lovely restaurant!

This is a wonderful family owned restaurant. The food was delicious. Some of the best falafel I've ever eaten. The service was great. The restaurant was emaculate. The server readily accommodated my dietary needs. For these reasons alone I would suggest choosing Old Damascus for lunch or dinner. Even more, the restaurant was so beautifully decorated, I couldn't stop taking it all in. The care and talent that went into to the atmosphere compare to no other restaurant. It's gorgeous.

While the food is good the prices have gone way up. I paid $12 for just 6 falafel and $4.50 for a cup of tea. Also, check each item for correctness if ordering take out. We ordered the chicken shwarma dinner and once home discovered they gave us a chicken shwarma sandwich/burrito.

The best family owned restaurant, that serves the best homemade, warm, and comforting meals I came from New Jersey, just visiting Dallas. I’m so glad to have stopped by this beautiful restaurant. I definitely would recommend it ?

I came from New jersey to visit this amazing restaurantNestled in the heart of Dallas, Old Dimuscus offers a culinary journey that transports diners to the bustling streets of Damascus. From the moment you step inside, the warm ambiance and inviting aromas set the stage for an unforgettable dining experience. The menu is a celebration of Syrian cuisine, showcasing a diverse array of dishes bursting with flavor and tradition. Start your meal with mezza, an assortment of small plates including hummus, baba ghanoush, and falafel, each meticulously prepared with fresh ingredients and authentic spices. For the main course, indulge in classics like shawarma, tender slices of marinated meat wrapped in warm pita bread and served with tangy tahini sauce. Alternatively, opt for the savory kibbeh, a dish of ground meat and bulgur wheat seasoned to perfection and fried to golden perfection. Also main dishes like kabseh and mandi offering a delightful balance of textures and flavors. Pair your meal with a refreshing glass of mint tea or traditional ayran yogurt drink for the perfect complement to your culinary journey. The hospitality at Old Dimuscus is as exceptional as the food, with attentive staff eager to ensure your dining experience is nothing short of memorable. Whether you're a seasoned aficionado of Middle Eastern cuisine or new to Syrian fare, Old Dimuscus promises a dining experience that will leave you craving more. So, if you find yourself in Texas craving a taste of authentic Syrian cuisine, look no further than Old Dimuscus. Your taste buds will thank you.
