I am on a business trip from Germany and was looking for an authentic Vietnamese Restaurant with Bun Bo Hue. I’m very happy to find this place, the food tastes amazing and they also offer “mam ruoc” as an option with Bun Bo Hue, which is a very authentic Hue thing.

Reasonable quality and quantity at reasonable price. Nothing stands out screaming 5 stars. Fumes from a nearby smoke shop get sucked into the restaurant, and the smell is quite unpleasant.

Great Vietnamese food, but the service can definitely be improved. They provide free bottle water but since I am environmentally conscious I would prefer the water without the plastic. Once you are served forget about any customer service. The bathrooms cleanliness can definitely be improved.

Food is not as good as it used to be a few years back
If you’re looking for authentic tasting pho, this is the place! We loved everything we tried! The shrimp spring rolls were fresh, the pho was incredible, and even the sweet tea was delicious. Definitely coming back for more!

Restaurantji Recommends
The guy that walked in, sat, then walked out today at 5:30 was me. I really wanted to try the noodles and Bun Bo Hue but I just couldn’t get over the smell of cigarette smoke in the air … did someone think they could burn one right before dinner service or something? I tried I really did but I couldn’t get past it.

let me just start off by saying that the entire restaurant is a health hazard. Not only did I have fruit flies flying in my face the entire time, but one actually landed in my pho. When I told my server (Who also happened to be the cashier) That there was a bug that flew in my food. He proceeded to laugh And brush it off. When we went to go pay for our food, I asked him if there’s any discount that I would receive for a bug literally flying in my food, He Looked at me and ignored me, and I said “ I take that As a no?” And he said no.
The inside of the restaurant is completely rundown and honestly should have a health inspector come by . My friend, who got beef pho Couldn’t even eat the beef because it was so fatty. It also didn’t feel good when we walked in as the only people of color and we got stares the entire time.

We went for dinner before they closed. Every aspect about their pho, the rice noodle, the veggies, broth, and meat, were really good! We were also pleasantly surprised by the Vietnamese yogurt. Creamy and flavorful!

The food is delish. My friends and I liked it a lot. They have the usual Vietnamese fare including cha gio, bun thit nuong, phơ etc. All are very tasty. The atmosphere is typical of Vietnamese restaurants in strip malls: loud and fast paced. The service is what you would expect from a phơ place. I don't know why some people complained in the rating. It is a phơ place in a strip mall. Did they expect the French Room at the Adolphus downtown? Come for the food not the ambiance.
