“Pho Anah
Vietnamese
Lake Highlands, Dallas
Mar 11, 2025
This is a spacious and clean place.
Sadly, it's located in an exhausted shopping center replete with vacant commercial real estate.
Pho, a style of Vietnamese soup, is not the only offering.
They also have the traditional Vietnamese vermicelli dishes.
Steamed and fried rice combinations are presented, as well.
I tried the grilled shrimp with vegetables and steamed rice and wasn't disappointed.
It's a bit pricey for lunch (over $14.00) but the food is flavorful and healthy for you.“

“There was a struggle with communication with my server due to the language barrier. I ordered chicken spring rolls, beef round, and meatball Pho, with hot oil and hot Jamin tea. The Pho was brought out first. 15 minutes later, there are no chicken spring rolls. I waived him down for sugar and my spring rolls. He apologized and said he had forgotten. I'm done eating, 40 minutes later, and still no chicken spring rolls!!!Pho had excellent flavor...authentic seasoned with perfect spices. After 45 minutes, I didn't get my spring rolls. Stars for service are changing now to a 1 star ?.
Vegetarian options: Only counted about 2 dinner/ lunch plates. I am sure you can order veggie entrees without meat or order with Tofu.“

“I had the pleasure of trying the bánh canh cua here and it was absolutely amazing! The broth was rich and flavorful, with just the right balance of sweetness and umami from the crab. The crab meat was fresh, tender, and generous in portion. If you’re a fan of crab or Vietnamese soups, you definitely need to try this!“
