Pho is For Lovers is one of my favorite places to grab Vietnamese food in the Richardson area. It is also probably the easiest/best lunch spot. The pho and bun bo hue can be adjusted to your tastes, and the service is top notch!

Had serious diarrhea 3 to 4 times after eating there.
I have been there often and normally leave a good tip. This time I bumped on not leaving tip accidentally and felt guilty while eating there. Since I had serious diarrhea afterwards, I wonder whether it’s related to tips. If so, I feel even more horrified since what the heck the other reasons they’d come up with to leave something poisonous in your food. Either way, diarrhea is not fun and I don’t know what was in my food. I hope they can be more professional and standardized.
UPDATE: increased the rating due to the owner's promise. This rating is for a future customer's reference. To be clear, that's the only meal I had earlier today. So there is definitely something they need to improve. I may give them one more chance later when this bad memory fades, until then, I won't change the rating.
Food was very fresh and great portion sizes. The place was very clean. This was my first time trying Pho & Banh Mi and I was not disappointed! Had the chicken pho, bbq beef banh mi, and the summer rolls (without the pork). 10/10!

The first time I tried this place is was so good and delicious. I was so happy to finally find some yummy tofu near me. But each time I went it got a little less tasty. The vegetarian pho is lacking flavor and my bahn MI was soggy inside and out. The last time we ordered my sister got me a tofu. Bon me and two orders of pho for her and my mother. When she got back home. My sandwich was definitely not tofu but look like spam so she took it back. They were nice because they let her in after they were already closed and remade the sandwich. But when she got back the bread had not been toasted and everything inside the sandwich was slop. I ended up having to put it in the oven to toast it up and it was just not edible after. And because my sister had to go back to the restaurant, her soup was cold and my mom ended up having to eat by herself. They did not offer her any kind of discount on next order or even offer her some money back for the disappointment and inconvenience. Because of these reasons, I will not be recommending this place to anybody and I will not be back. I hope you guys get better.
