Went yesterday with my family, the Short guy who was the server seemed like he did not want to be there and also picked his nose with his finger right in front of me. I immediately had to stop eating. Seriously need to review the cameras to watch this server pick his nose in front of customers. This is so gross.

Excellent Vietnamese Restaurant, very fresh and very cozy inside. The lights are a little bright for my taste and they make no effort to take the dirty dishes away from your table. This causes too many dishes to pile up on the table as well as the surrounding tables. It also leaves the overworked busser to have to remove all of the plates at once which contributes to too much noise in the restaurant. At this price point as well as with a menu that promotes sharing, there absolutely must be more effort made by the wait staff to keep tables clutter free and give the guest a better standard of service. Food was excellent, although no one came by to check on us again after it was set down??? If this establishment wishes to give the customer the appearance that it is upscale and Full Service, then the current level of service is unacceptable.

If you wish to just set the drinks down and never check on refills (canned sodas) and set the food down and never come back to the table as well as require the customer to go to the front of the restaurant to pay then don't act like it's full service, don't expect a gratuity and simply have the customer order at the counter and pay at the time of ordering. Otherwise, the service as it is currently organized is not up to the standard that this restaurant should be attempting to provide it's customers.

This is a wonderful place with a large baked catfish. Very tasty and bones were removed. Great family meal sharing a large entree of catfish.
The texture was crispy and the fish was tender. Great food and recommended highly.

Love to revisit for a family meal.

Parking: Easy accessible parking spots.

At 3pm, I called to order grill fish before we arrive because I knew it would take long to prepare it.

A male answer the phone said, it takes 20 minutes to get it ready. I agreed with him.
But when we arrived at the restaurant around 3:40 pm , we Had to wait for more than 20 minutes.

We ended up to order appetizer when we didn't plan to because we intended to finish the fish and not bring home since we ordered large size for 2 people .

It's better to Not say, it's done in 20 minutes because if said then it ought to keep their words. Why not saying, 30 minutes?

RESTROOM AREN'T CLEAN AND THE LIGHTS ARE NOT BRIGHT. The Vegetables, lettuces, mints leaves, and bean sprouts are not fresh...

If you’re looking for the best crispy fried fish in Dallas, Saigon Block is the place to go! The fish is perfectly fried—crispy on the outside, tender and juicy inside, with amazing flavors that make it stand out. It’s a must-try!

Another highlight is the Thai Spicy Soup, which is hands down the best I’ve had. The broth is rich, flavorful, and has the perfect level of heat to warm you up. Every spoonful is packed with fresh ingredients and authentic spices that make it incredibly satisfying.

Beyond the food, the service is friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere is cozy yet lively, making it a great spot for gatherings or a casual meal. If you’re craving delicious Vietnamese dishes with bold flavors, Saigon Block will not disappoint!

First time having Vietnamese food. Everything was excellent. Perfectly cooked and flavored. Portions were slightly bigger than I could handle, which made for great leftovers. I've been craving their food since trying it and will be back as soon as I can. One of my new favorites.

My GF’s family came here for the grilled cat fish. I don’t know about the other items on the menu but the grill fish was simply amazing.
