I usually only stop by when I haven’t had a chance to get breakfast elsewhere and I’m already on campus. I understand the baristas are students and still learning, which I appreciate—but recently, even when the place isn’t busy, my order has taken longer than expected. One morning, I had already finished my frappuccino before my sous vide was ready. It’s frustrating to wait that long when the café isn’t crowded. I’ve heard others mention concerns about the manager, though I haven’t had any negative experiences myself. On a positive note, the baristas are friendly and seem to be doing their best.

Corporate needs to come and help retrain and bring in more professional baristas and managers to this Starbucks. People who write reviews here should contact Starbucks directly so they know and hopefully will do something.
The worst Starbucks ever. Never getting what I ordered.
I recently visited the Starbucks at UTD, and I was truly disappointed by the experience. I ordered an iced caramel macchiato, but it had an excessive amount of syrup, so I kindly asked one of the students to remake it. The student agreed, but then the manager started yelling at them in front of customers, which made me feel uncomfortable and upset. The way the manager treated the employee was completely unprofessional and unacceptable.
Moreover, the manager was openly making negative comments about customers, which created a tense and unwelcoming atmosphere. We also had to wait an unusually long time just to place our order. It’s clear that there are issues with the way staff are treated and the overall service. I hope this review serves as a wake-up call for the management to improve the work environment and customer service. The way employees are treated should be respectful, and customers deserve a more pleasant experience. I really hope this situation is addressed, as it has the potential to make a big impact on both the staff and the overall customer experience at this location.
Oh where to start, I’ve been to many Starbucks in my life. This is easily the absolute worst location. Manager yells at its employees when they mess up an order (this happened when I ordered an iced latte and they made it hot, I just expected them to pleasantly correct it). Instead, for a minute the manager stops everyone working and yells at them about the mistake. I’m no business person but safe to say, this Starbucks location will likely get worse and worse if current management stays. Additionally, they train many students at once leading to terribly slow wait times. It’s extremely inconvenient as many people grabbing some coffee likely don’t have that time to wait. Additionally, the drinks don’t taste great/up to par with other locations.
The place is beautiful, but do not order from here. They never know how to make anything (I've been given steamed milk with no espresso after ordering a White Chocolate Mocha), regularly mix up hot and cold drinks, and can never find anyone who knows what is going on (Today I was given a drink with coffee in it after ordering a Caramel apple spice, which is literally steamed apple juice and cinnamon dolce syrup).
If you have any allergies or sensitivities, then DON'T go. They'll mix up milks all the time. It's insane.

Starbucks was A-OK
Yesterday late Saturday afternoon I came here for the first time. My drink was fine and the guy that made it was professional as was the staff at first. Then as I was leaving the two blk women at the register were talking and one of them (a very-large blk chick with glasses I guess the mngr) casually made a couple of disrespectful comments concerning myself, very unprofessional.

Save yourself the headache and go to literally any other Starbucks nearby.

This is an additional google address for the same 2 star Starbucks. This is the worst managed Starbucks you will ever encounter. 10 people working with half just standing around while the rest work. They could be helping with drinks, but they'd rather laugh while you wait 20 min for a drink.

This morning, I bought a Tall iced Caramel Macchiato with the perception of being charged $5.68 with tax (as charged on the app). As I was noticing my receipt, I saw that I was charged $6.22 with tax. See I am not one to make a fuss at these types of things, simple mistakes are made. So, I went up to one of the employees and told her that I was mischarged. She brought over her manager, and she went on to say that the register has its own prices and there is nothing they can do about it. Keep in mind that the venti for the same drink is 3 CENTS MORE and I received the tall the smallest size. Anyway, I don't recommend this location if don't want to be up charged.

They take 20 minutes to make your drink and skip the order in the line and make 5 other peoples drink before yours to only not make the drink right and when you ask them about it they insist its right and nothing is wrong with it.

Horrible experience. The African American manager was extremely rude to the employees and customers. I asked her about a breakfast sandwich, not remembering the exact name, but describing it perfectly, only for her to roll her eyes at me and yell at me saying she didn't know what I was talking about. If you can't even remember the menu and treat customers with respect, then don't even bother working here! This lady can't do her job properly at all and needs to be fired immediately.
Additionally, the drinks were horrible. I ordered a matcha latte only for it to taste like plain milk. My friend ordered a caramel macchiato only for it to have a horrible presentation and also taste like plain milk and sugar.
It sucks that this is the only starbucks in the school. Looking at all the other reviews, it seems like the business has done nothing to solve the issue. They need to fire all the bad employees IMMEDIATELY and enforce a better training system. Worst cafe I've been to BY FAR. Don't ever come here unless you simply want to study.
