Rude and prejudice establishment - if you can even call it

Walked into the bar, the bar tender was immediately rude asked me if I had been drinking, which I had not been, showed him my renewal and my license and told me “we’re good” and told me to leave with no due cause. Rude places don’t deserve your service. If I could give zero stars I would.

Came in town and wanted to go sing. The crowd really gets into it and the DJ Mike does the best job I've seen. Sang a couple songs and had a great time. Great place for karaoke.

We like to go here on Thursday evenings to watch the music upstairs (Jerry Don Branch, great blues rock). Because the small upstairs bar area gets crowded early, we get there by 6 pm to get a seat for the ~7 pm show. We usually end up eating there as a result. The food is typical bar food. It's good for what it is (burgers, sandwiches, grilled chicken, salad, fries, onion rings, etc.). They have a decent variety of beer and drinks. The bar staff/waitstaff are very friendly, and though the crowd usually consists of the same group of people each time, they easily accept newcomers. To put it most simply, it's a fun place to spend a Thursday night if you like live music.

Great spot to hangout with friends. Although they do allow smoking.. the place is worth it. DJ at the karaoke was awesome and inviting. Will be back.

Last night a group of friends and I decided to stay local and hit up a bar in Richardson. We chose The tavern and it was such a good time. A dive bar with pool tables, foosball, games and karaoke. Needless to say, our group of 12 Asians enjoyed our night. Drinks were priced just right, casual vibes and we sang our hearts out on stage. 10/10!!!!

If you're looking for a dimly lit, seedy bar straight out of '70s then this is the place for you. I'm fairly certain it hasn't been updated since then.I had no idea that smoking was still permitted in 2024 at a restaurant-bar.Came to meet friends, walked in the door, and the overwhelming stench of cigarettes was disgusting. We had to walk out without ordering.It was creepy and in no way inviting or welcoming.Their website looks great… but trust when I say, from the moment you open the door, smell the stench, look around inside, you’ll notice the interior doesn’t even resemble the images they show. Based on their website, it looks like a fun, well lit & decorated bar. All I can think is they staged the photos like realtors do for properties. Skeevy , creepy.

Went in here and ordered drinks and ordered a tequila and sprite. Was brought a tequila and soda. Went back and told the waitress that it was wrong and she argued with me and I told her thank you for arguing with me and she said your welcome. Name of server is Reilly. Will never darken the doors again. Used to come all the time and now I know why I have not been there in a while. Lost out because I usually spend over $100 in drinks going out.

This is a fun dive bar. My friend and I were unaware of the atmosphere prior to going. It feels like you're going back in time 20-ish years as they allow smoking indoors & the lighting is very dark. The service is great. The food is good, & it's a laid-back vibe, but you will smell like smoke when you leave.
