Texas Smokehouse Bar-B-Que

If you look at the menu online, you will experience sticker shock upon dining at Texas Smokehouse. Those prices are from 2016, so the daily specials went up to $16 and change. I visited on a Tuesday and that meant I was having Pulled Pork. The server was generous with the portions, but that couldn't save it from being too dry. It wasn't bad, just not as juicy as I like it. Texas Smokehouse has one sauce, and it's tangy and flavorful. You get two sides with the Special plate so I opted for the green beans and cheesy taters. Those taters were yummy, and I immediately wished I'd served myself more. A piece of Texas toast and a drink rounds out the rest of the Special. I managed to resist the desserts on offer (but that cobbler looked mighty fine). I will have to return some time to try the Brisket. Not bad, even at 2025 prices.

Food was decent. But overall was just a small step up from dickeys for me. Brisket was a little bland and from the flat of the brisket I got was dry. Brisket also didn’t have much of a smoke ring or bark. And was probably a little dry because it was left out on the chopping block and not wrapped up. Sausage was pretty good. The other sides didn’t look very appetizing to me. No Mac and cheese.
So I got double baked beans and asked for toast. Paid around 21-22$ for 2 meats and 2 sides with 2 pieces of toast.
I will come back and possibly try something else like the ribs. Good customer service.

This is a great place to check out. Their brisket was juicy on yhe less lean pieces as it should be, great flavor, and get you some cheezy potatos! Best BBQ sauce I have tried yet and im all about BBQ!

I have been coming here since it was big als and tony took the grub to the next level🍖words do it no justice ..the best there is the brisket is so tender it can be eaten easily even if your have no treth

I’ve been going here since 2015 when I worked at iQor it was something the walk everyone on my lunch breaks to get a brisket baked potato
