The Great Outdoors has historically been a really good experience.Tonight, however, was not, and I believe my experience should be shared. My wife and I arrived at the drive through with no one in front of us and promptly had our order taken. We pulled ahead to the second window and paid and after ~5 minutes received our drinks. My "shake" was half empty already and nearly entirely milk - no ice cream to be found. And then we waited. and waited. And waited some more. About ~12 minutes after we got our drinks we finally got our food. I exchanged my milkshake explaining how it was nearly empty from the get-go and had no ice cream in it. Without saying a single word, they took my half-empty cup of milk and were generous enough to give me a nearly full cup of milk - still no ice cream to be found.I hope the great outdoors can get it together because I've enjoyed being a patron for years.

I love that they built a new building has a much better atmosphere. I've been eating their subs for years and enjoy them. The staff is always friendly and keep the restaurant clean. They have high chairs available and the tables can accommodate a wheelchair. There is plenty of parking available including handicap and places for pick up orders. Over the years the prices have stayed competitive and they have vegetarian options.
