So I was given a waitress that was not very good, however there was a waitor name Doug he was so amazing with his customers, so if you dine here I highly recommend asking for him by name I give you my word you will not regret it. I will do the same. Fried string beans were amazing!!!
Enjoyed a superb family Sunday brunch here. We were seated promptly, and Doug, our server, was excellent. The grilled salmon on rice with mashed potatoes and coleslaw on the side was a hit, as were the chicken and bacon quesadillas. Can't forget the cornbread—everything was delicious. Definitely recommend!Kid-friendliness: It was super kid-friendly—a great spot for the whole family.

Had a craving for some meatloaf and I found this place. I'm glad I did! They got a daily lunch special for $8.99anf they have good portion. I went with the meatloaf mashed potatoes with brown gravy and t mac and cheese. It was all delicious and I had to take some home. The corn bread was perfection. The lady who waited on me was also super nice and welcoming. I'll definitely be going back for lunch.

When we walked in with an Open Table reservation they knew nothing about it. The person up front got a manager and he was also clueless. The food is usually very good and a good value. They don't have enough servers. I'm guessing I didn't get points for this since they didn't know what I was talking about.

Seriously one of the best places I have ever been to! I WILL say that we were skeptical because were from out of town. We were upset because we saw online there was a play place but learned since covid its closed, either way we gave it a shot. And everything down to the details was amazing! I was even surprised because I ordered a water and most places the water taste like tap and I was happy theres didnt ? But other than that our appetizer was chips & Queso and it was the best we’ve ever had! We ordered the mushroom swiss burgers and pot roast and everything was super hot, flavorful, out in less than 15 mins and cheap! For 3 meals, drinks and appetizers ONLY $45. As a family of 4 we were so surprised we found this gem, it made us so happy we talked about moving here just so we could come all the time. 10/10!The server let us know the chef/kitchen manager had been working there since 15, and he’s now in his 50’s! Definitely will be back.

Maybe I made mistake with the Meatloaf, but it was the special when I went, and I tell ya, the sauce they have for it is bitter as hell, the Meatloaf had good texture but was bland, the chicken fried steak was mid, the breading wasn't too crispy, but for a home cooking restaurant I guess it met near what I expected, I was looking for a new lunch spot but this will definitely not be in my rotation

Donation folks harrased me at the front door. I should be able to go into a business in peace.Also, my waiter missed several opportunities to upsell or suggest. For example, I had no idea there was a special of the day until I saw the sign after I ordered, and when I asked if there were any drink specials, all I got is a no. Maybe suggest a popular drink to boost your tip? Hmm, just an idea.
