Best winery I've been to. Owner was serving us drinks & he couldn't have done a better job. Overall wonderful people, wonderful atmosphere & fantastic drinks. Guy knows what he's doing. 10/10 will come back. ?Parking: Went at night, parking was amazing & plentiful. Is in a small shopping center, could run out of spaces if busy but didn't experience that

Fantastic, friendly neighborhood wine bar with a variety of selections at a range of price points. We love the cozy atmosphere and like to bring cheese and charcuterie to snack on or have a meal delivered. Also a great stop for an after- dinner glass when they have live music. Highly recommend stopping in if you're a wine lover!

This wine bar is a very tucked away, hidden gem. It has a wonderfully interesting selection of wines. I did some exploring while there and found some options that intrigued me. Though I didn't get any pictures, they have a ton of couches. Seems like a perfect place to bring a book, curl up on a couch, and spend the afternoon. I also talked to some regulars as well, and they all were very welcoming. I really enjoyed my time there and will be back.

Fantastic neighborhood place with a great atmosphere and better prices. Tom, always keep a strong selection and is willing to order specialty selections.

If you know nothing about wine or the wine business then this is the place for you. Wholesale distributors are forced by regional distributors to take pallets of junky wine to get the wines they really want. They then sell it off to retailers at very low prices or it will sit in their warehouse. They may give it to them as 3 cases free if you buy 3 and then retailers like the WA will sell it with a normal markup and make huge profit. Meanwhile, the people that go are psychologically under pressure to like the wines as they are being told how great they are and they are drinking junk. In lookng at the entire wine list there are only 3 wines on it worth buying and none woud be any I would normally buy. So, if you want cheap junk wines go to the WA.

Such a cute and chill atmosphere to drink some great wine - decently priced for quality wine. The owner Tom is super nice and welcoming and helped us figure out the wine on our wheel house ?We stopped by on an early saturday afternoon which happened to be right before their trivia night - glad we stayed for it! super fun!

My wife and I went for a date night and this place is amazing. Tom picked perfect wines for us just based on what we usually drink. It was eclectic and cozy. Don't worry about the ugly shopping center - this place is a gem and worth it. Prices on bottles are great - the owner shops around and makes sure he has competitive pricing. Can't recommend this enough! Pick up some dinner and bring it in and they'll pair it to what you're eating.

We were booked as live music into The Wine Authority in Richardson this past Friday. The staff made us feel so very welcome and the space for us to set up in was comfortable. We played from 8 til 11 for a wonderful crowd and left with a bottle of Soave wine! Just loved this place!

Great ambience- intimate and truly feels like a tribe. The hospitality of the hosts is impressive and the variety of choice wines is all that and much more. Highly recommend.

We go to the The Wine Authority pretty much every week, and the owner Tom is the NICEST person who just wants everyone to have the best time, make some friends, learn about wines, and discover new wines through tastings. His pricing is great, and the membership is so worth it. The Tuesday tastings are a blast, and Tom really has fun with the bar, making each night a fun experience with different activities. His events are not to be missed! Tom and all the folks that work at TWA take the time to get to know you and what you like so you always have a personalized experience. I call it the "second living room". You walk in to see faces you know, games on the shelf to play if you fancy, and enthusiastic, friendly and knowledgeable folks pouring the wine who can't wait to get to know you.
