On 12/4/25 I ordered the Damn Good Salad(DGS) without meat. On 12/5/25 I reported to the mgr., Cindy that I was food poisoned. She immediately took no accountability and was unempathetic stating, "Well no one else reported an issue." She proceeded with requesting I complete an "insurance claim form" regarding the incident as if she was insinuating I wasn't being truthful. I sent an online request for her superior to contact me, and instead Cindy responded via email reiterating the issue was closed and again no one else reported the issue with the DGS. I dine at Tricky Fish on the regular and I've never experienced such unprofessionalism and poor quality of service. I was never offered a resolution or a follow-up from mgmt. as I requested. I will never eat here again, and I wouldn't recommend anyone else to do so either. Dine at your own risk!

I had the fried catfish and shrimp but substituted Parmesan grits & sautéed zucchini. Everything was good except the catfish which was absolutely awful. The fish was mushy and I couldn’t finish a fillet. I would definitely go back for the shrimp and grilled veggies which were the best items.

Stumbled upon this place a year ago and have not stopped thinking about it since. came back this year and it still lives up to exactly as i remembered it. THE BEST calamari I’ve ever had, amazing crawfish etouffee and outstanding dirty rice. We somehow got the last slice of the Apple Cobbler Cheesecake, and guess what? it was unbelievable.

My new favorite Cajun/ Seafood restaurant (apart from Papadeaux of course) I lowered my service rating: we went there for lunch and it was pretty busy at noon. I asked the host if we could sit at table 8 by the window. He said “sure, just go up and order at the counter and tell them table 8. We went up to look at the menu, decided what we wanted and my wife went to sit down and wait for me. When she got there, he was giving another couple our table. She said “isn’t that my table?” And he said, “well these people wanted it. You can go sit over there (away from the window)”. She told him where to stick his table and interrupted my order to say we’re leaving. If we go back again, it will be for takeout.
