Cristobal Mexican Grill & Bar

My wife and I ordered the Parrillada mixta PARRILLADA (beef and chicken fajitas). We each had two tacos, but there was enough food for us to have two more tacos each! The fajitas were excellent, and the sides were plentiful. There was a decent amount of veggies in the rice, which I prefer. We also ordered a frozen house margarita and frozen mango margarita. Both drinks were great; definitely above average. The mango margarita tasted more of a syrup-mango flavoring versus mango juice. The chips and salsa were some of the best we have ever. Had! We really loved how the chips were crunchy and not oily, no shine at all. The queso tasted Velveeta-based; above average. The price for everything was very reasonable. This will definitely be our go-to restaurant for fajitas in the Rosenberg/Richmond area!

Basic, but very good typical Tex-Mex joint. Not fancy. Very clean. Friendly, efficient service. Food is always great, well-prepared, and obviously freshly cooked. Reasonable prices, both lunch and dinner. Don't miss it.

Went for a much needed lunch while camping at Brazos Bend State Park, which was about a 25 minute drive. Service was exceptional and quick and the food was outstanding! Very clean restrooms and comfortable atmosphere.

Great family owned restaurant with attractive atmosphere and great fresh food. Mole enchiladas is my favorite.

The carne guisada is really good here and the service is always excellent.

I love this place. This is a family operated business and everyone of the family and other employees are amazing. The food is amazing. Everyone is always so friendly. Tonight I had the Pechuga al Chipotle and asked them to make it extra spicy and they went above and beyond. Great work love the food and people here! Orlando will make you feel right at home!

We went tonight as a group to Cristobal. The service was quick and friendly, and the margaritas were great. It is a no frills restaurant, which is no problem for me.

The food is just not very good. There are too many great Tex Mex places in Houston to accept sub-par food. The queso, as others have mentioned is not very good and seems to be a can of Rico's mixed with some soft bell peppers. The table side guacamole was good. The beef fajitas are either cut with the grain of the steak or are poor quality. Also, the fajitas just come with onions. Everyone knows you need to throw at least a few bell peppers in there.

The mixed plates were also underwhelming and quite frankly reminiscent of Taco Bell. None of the kids finished their meals either.

I would highly recommend this place for happy hour, but we will not be back, and I don't recommend it for dinner.
