This bbq joint is very unassuming, when you see it from the road it just looks like a little shack. But when you walk in, you can tell it’s the real deal. Everything from the food, the drinks, the staff and the interior of the place, it’s all phenomenal. The Cookie and the bread pudding blew me away. The owner, Ara Malekian, said that his goal was the cookie was for it to taste like warm cookie dough, and I think he nailed it. The bbq was delicious, the bark on all of the meats was the best I’ve ever had, and everything was so tender. If you come here, I highly recommend trying a little bit of everything. If you come with someone else, sit and talk with them while you eat, don’t spend too much time on your phone. Amazing bbq, amazing staff and owner.

I have ordered takeout from Harlem Road several times for family get togethers and parties. I have eaten bbq from all over Texas and many places in Houston. This is the best bbq ever and the sides are great. It would be hard to find a better bbq place.
