House of Chimney Cakes

Came all the way from Huntsville, Texas to try. It was worth the drive! Definitely coming back, service was great!! 🩷

Ever since I was introduced to chimney cakes abroad I've been looking for a place at home that replicates the delicacy. HoCC Houston does not disappoint. In fact their options are decadent and delicious. I stick to the relatively basic make your own combinations, and I have always walked away with a smile on my face and my craving for dessert satiated. The biggest plus about this place is the amazing service and late night hours over the weekend!

Pretty nice place and the decorations are amazing. The cakes look delicious that it was hard to choose. Made my own style and really liked the unique cake style, it was pretty delicious and would definitely recommend this place! The best part them being a halal place for many to enjoy.

I got to try this with my family on a whim to get some ice-cream after dinner and it didn’t disappoint. Friendly staff, nice aesthetically pleasing ambiance and great ice-cream makes it a must visit!

Not a fan to be honest. I came here bc I wanted desert and it was the only place open at that time, the employee was not helpful it was my first time there and didn't care to explain anything… additionally we waited 20 minutes for it which is absurd considerring we were their only customer. The desert itself also wasn't worth the wait at all, its like soft serve ice-cream on top of a dry croissant.

Very good I loved the decoration the fashionista was very yummy and looked very presentable!!!

My hubby and I tried them for the first time this week. We enjoyed that cone! And the matcha coconut shake, very tasty. The ambiance is so nice too. Love the decor! Very nice family owned business.

10/10!! Found this place on TikTok and decided to give it a try. Got the Dubai chocolate and the Oreo cone. Needless to say we came back the next day

The Dearborn location is under new ownership. It’s been renovated and updated. Really nice atmosphere and very clean. Updated menu items. Yummy brunch menu. It shows how dedicated the new owner is. Check them out.

Second time coming here and tried something different. It did NOT disappoint. Their ice cream flavors, unique cones and milkshakes we've tried so far are delicious!

Very pretty looking place which sets your expectations very high. They really work on their presentation. Gorgeous looking chimney cakes topped with soft serve ice cream but it lacks flavor. It is just regular soft serve ice cream that doesn’t taste as outstanding as it looks. Chimney cake cones are not that convenient to hold the ice cream and eat while ice cream constantly drips out of it and didn’t taste anything special either. Dessert lovers like me puts flavors over presentation and this place isn’t for me.

The chimney cakes here are absolutely delicious (they taste just like authentic Romanian chimney cakes!). I recommend going with the cinnamon sugar flavor, plus tastes 100% better during the Christmas season and winter in general. Reviews don’t talk nearly enough about these chimneys cakes but they’re amazing.
Give them a try I’m sure you won’t regret it.
