Howdy Hot Chicken

Disappointed with my experience. I’ve tried several hot chicken spots, and unfortunately, this was the worst by far. I ordered the chicken sandwich combo and loaded fries. I specifically requested my fries to be well done, but they came out barely warm—just like the chicken. For $32, I expected much better quality. Honestly, I would’ve had a better meal at McDonald’s. Definitely won’t be returning.

Loved the food, great menu, very big portion sizes with leftovers to take home. Loved the tastes - also it was halal!!!!

Ive given this place a couple of tries but its always very inconsistent. Also got sick from eating the chicken there the last time i ordered. Dont think ill be going back.

If youre going to give people the option to have no heat on their food, it should be without heat. This is the 3rd time I've ordered the mac and cheese with chicken for my kids and every single time it has been so spicy that I couldn't eat it, much less my 4 and 6 year old.

The food was just okay. The chicken looked like it had been seasoned, but it didn’t have much flavor. It seemed like they relied a lot on the sauce to make it tasty, which was only alright but a bit too watery. The servings were also on the small side.

As for the service, the person who took our order seemed a bit indifferent. He spoke quietly, but at least he got our order right. However, he didn’t ask if we wanted any water, which was a bit disappointing.

On a positive note, the atmosphere was nice. The place was well-designed and clean, but the music was a bit too loud, and it felt a little awkward because it was pretty empty. All in all, I probably wouldn’t go back to this restaurant or recommend it, unless you’re specifically craving spicy chicken.

Now normally Howdy’s is pretty good, Not Today. The Fries was cold and the chicken was burnt. Then the cashier had the audacity to ask me to write a review smh. Outta line. I know what days to not go from this point on.

rofessional, cool, and made the whole experience better. Took care of us with solid recommendations and real attention to detail. You can tell he cares about the customer and represents the brand right. If you're stopping by, hope you catch him on shift.
