We recently ordered a custom cake from Katy Bakes TX for our daughter’s baby shower, and I cannot recommend them enough, especially for anyone with dietary needs. My daughter has celiac disease, and Catherine took every single request and detail into account to ensure her cake was not only safe but exactly what she wanted. We were so impressed to learn that they dedicate a full week to gluten free baking and use separate equipment, which gave us complete peace of mind. The cake was also made with all organic ingredients, which was a fantastic addition. All of our guests commented on how beautiful the cake looked and how incredibly delicious it tasted. We ordered the gluten-free half a dozen cupcakes and they were absolutely delicious! The vanilla cake was moist and soft! I couldn’t even tell it was gluten-free. The frosting was light, airy, and not overly sweet, and the strawberry and chocolate fillings were amazing.
I also loved the way the cupcakes were packaged. Each one came in its own little cup with a dome lid, which made them easy to travel with and kept the frosting looking perfect. Ordering was simple, pickup instructions were clear, and everything went smoothly.
My friends and family really enjoyed the cupcakes, and if we ever need specialty options like gluten-free or vegan again, this is definitely where I’ll go. Cathy was super attentive, answered all my questions, and made the whole process easy. Couldn’t recommend them more!

My kid loved her fudge avo brownie and banana walnut snack cake, and I’m so happy she loves baking and can make whatever your heart desires *and accommodates dietary restrictions*! I randomly called for the first time ten minutes before she closed, and 10 minutes later I’m outside her house leaving with a warm hug and warm desserts.
