The place is clean and the service is great. The portions are huge too but the food just didn’t do it for me. Not much flavor is anything but I was very full when I left.

So this place gets mixed reviews, food is decent, service ok, and they do have cheap margaritas Mondays, that being said, the margaritas on Monday were $2, they're posted sign now says $3, but we were charged $3.50, that left a bad taste in my mouth, as well as anyone suddenly tracking on a couple extra at the end because you paid with a credit card... Hate that practice, always have, always will. Don't know that I like it enough to go back.

The breakfast was not at all what I thought it would be. If you’re looking for food line mom use to make don’t come. I’ve heard good reviews but maybe we should’ve come during lunch instead. I feel like it was…meh. It wasn’t terrible but it wasn’t something I would recommend to any one. For sure didn’t leave here satisfied about much of anything. Staff was kind of on autopilot, just going thru the motions. Not at all what I’m use to going to a “Mexican” restaurant. We MIGHT give lunch/dinner a try in some months…MAYBE.

I couldn't be more disappointed. I used to looooooove Larry's!! Haven't been here in a while, but decided to give them a shot. And I am very sorry I did.The salsa was watered down tomato sauce. Had no flavor at all. I got the Larry's original tacos and they were terrible!!!I'll eat a damn book if it's labeled Mexican food, but couldn't stand these tacos. Husband got "nachos". More like cold chips with some congealed "cheese" and a couple pieces of very overcooked beef fajita meat.And then to top it off....it was over $30 for this almost inedible meal. Their prices have skyrocketed!! It's ridiculous. I will not be going back...ever.

Always good food at fair prices. It's an older restaurant in the poorer side of Richmond but that's what gives it some charm. I've been eating here for 25 years. Always consistent. The staff is always friendly and even when we have 15+ people, the food and drinks come out fast.
