Food was not good. Stopped in for Valentines Day. Beans and rice were barely warm. Ordered Asiago steak it was tough and was skirt steak not steak. Not worth $25.

Lopez Mexican Restaurant was such a wonderful experience from start to finish. The moment we walked in, we were greeted with warm, genuine smiles that immediately made us feel welcome. That first impression set the tone for the whole evening.

The ambience was really pleasant, comfortable, inviting, and well kept. It felt relaxed but still lively enough to make it a great spot for a night out. The location is also super convenient, right off Highway 99 and next to Gallery Furniture, which made it easy to get to and perfect for a casual dinner plan.

The food was absolutely delicious. Every dish was flavorful and satisfying, and the portion sizes were very, very generous. We definitely felt like we got more than our money’s worth. Speaking of value, the pricing was extremely reasonable, especially considering the quality and quantity of the food. It is not easy to find that kind of balance these days.

The service truly stood out. Our servers were quick, friendly, and very attentive throughout the meal. They were extremely polite, answered all of our questions with a friendly tone, and always had bright smiles on their faces. It felt like they genuinely cared about making sure we had a great experience.

Overall, it was a phenomenal night dining at Lopez Mexican Restaurant. Great food, generous portions, excellent service, and a welcoming atmosphere. We will definitely be coming back.

This is one of my favorite restaurant. The staff here is so wonderful. I love the quasadilla mostly here and many other items are really good and delicious food as well. I totally recommend this restaurant located here at Richmond location.

I grew up going to the original Lopez when it was a small hole in the wall and they now have two locations and you still get treated as family! We love this place.

We ate at the Hwy 99 location connected to Gallery furniture. Service and food was exceptional. I have been a customer since the restaurant was in a single room next door to the former Houstons greatest Hickory Barn BBQ. Didn't think this location could be as good as the Murphy Rd. location. It might be better, but it was definitely fantastic. Still the best cheese Enchaladas in Houston. No one can compare.

After 40+ years as a Houston resident and HISD retiree, I now live in Colorado. Lopez is my go-to Mexican place when I'm in town. Great food...especially to go.
