Got there around 4:30. Nobody around and after a few minutes nobody showed up. So we left.

A neighborhood restaurant like you miss from the past. Greek and Italian, friendly atmosphere, tasty classics. Always decorated for the season. Easy access off I-64 at West Broad Street. Been intermittent devote since about 1980. Love it.

We are regulars at this well kept secret. Food is consistently good, and prepared with a eye to keeping customers coming back.In a strip center and very small, but give them a try!!! You will be regulars as well!

We visited for our parents 45th wedding anniversary and had a fabulous time. The food was great, service was spectacular, and great intimate atmosphere. Can't wait to come back!

Placed simple take out order of chicken picatta yesterday. I asked the young lady who took my order if I could substitute the side of pasta for spinach. She says sure, I have to charge you an extra $8.95, but you can get a different kind of pasta for no charge. OK, give me fettuccine Alfredo. She says OK, will be ready in 10 minutes. I roll up and was charged $4.95 extra! I told her forget it, just give me the spaghetti, which she did. I'm pretty sure they had time to make the Alfredo. A smart customer service move would have been to just throw it in the bag and make a happy customer. The picatta was pretty good, but there was only one table of guests in the dining room that was hot as an oven. Should have been way more customers at 7:00 PM. Poor communication and lack of basic customer service smarts will make me think twice about returning and we've been going there about 5 years.

Spaghetti is the most common thing one can order in an Italian restaurant. This was not authentic. Nor was the toscana soup. Salad consisted of literally only lettuce.

I haven't been to Nicks in many years. I was on that side of town and suggested it as a work related lunch location. The restaurant was EMPTY. there were 5 of us. We still couldn't get much of the waitresses attention nor could she bring us things like drinks in a timely manner. The food was, in short, inedible. I ordered a simple salad with chicken. I really couldn't eat it it was so bad. None of my party was happy with their food and we left most of it uneaten. I will never return here. Next time I'd prefer some cheap fast food than $100 in edible food. I'm actually surprised I'm not sick yet from it.

First time visiting at a family friend's recommendation who has been going for years. I had high hopes between that and the 4.1 review. I don't really know how to phrase it except it was awful. The minestrone soup was a vegetable soup with no beans or tomatoes and the flavor was ok but definitely not minestrone. The salad I actually spit out into my napkin because it had a very odd, off-putting taste in the dressing. The sodas were flat and hot. My husband ordered lasagna (fresh cut (??) from the waitress) and I had the rosa ravioli. The lasagna was INEDIBLE and tasted rancid. My ravioli was not bad but was overcooked and had the same funky flavor that the salad and lasagna had. I am pretty sure we will be ill later. Didn't even bother to complain as the waitress was working her tail off (only one of two) and we just wanted to leave. It was the most disappointing $50 we have spent. Will not be back and I do not recommend it.

We haven't been to Nick's in a long time so we decided to try it this past Sunday. We arrived early. No cars, but it was only 4pm. We were greeted by a young woman at the podium who turned out to be our server. We ordered our drinks and calamari for an appetizer. "We're out of calamari." Now we're wondering, did we make the right decision? As we looked around, we noticed all the tables were clean and set, and the floor was also clean. We ordered our entrees, chicken picatta and pistachio chicken. The bread service was good. After our salad, our food came out at the perfect time. The chicken picatta was tender and the lemon/butter sauce was excellent. Simple, but I enjoyed it. My wife's pistachio chicken was very good. Her chicken was also tender. Overall, we were very pleased with the food.We always enjoyed the relaxing atmosphere at Nick's. Our server, Arianna was very friendly and attentive, but not overbearing. She kept our tea glasses full and checked on us regularly. As we were finishing our meal a group of eight sat down. However, Arianna never ignored us even though we were finish. Her service was excellent, so I left her a good tip. We'll come back just to try something else.

Hidden Gem ? Italian restaurant! Absolutely love this place, food is very delicious, everything homemade, the customer service is excellent. Nice, clean, romantic, quite place. Definitely recommend for date nights and also it is kid friendly so bringing kids is a plus! Very spacey also. They give large portions of food, so it's a good bang for your buck! You will be taking home leftovers!
