Rambler Creek Grill is a hidden gem.
From the warm welcome by the host to the attentive server and kind manager, the service was flawless. The food was simple, elegant, and full of flavor. The calm, quiet booths made it the perfect spot to relax. And the surprise bread pudding? Absolutely unforgettable. Bonus points for weekly specials!

This is our favorite restaurant in Richmond. The flavors, sauces, and proteins—whether it’s chicken, fish, shrimp, salmon, redfish, flounder, tuna, steaks, center-cut pork, meatloaf, or burgers—are always spot on. Start your meal with a craft cocktail and the spinach and artichoke dip, or try one of the other delicious appetizers, like the Big Daddy Trio meatballs.

It’s hard to choose a favorite entrée, but we especially love the chicken beurre blanc, Cajun chicken pasta, ribeye, shrimp and grits, and the meatloaf. The side dishes are fantastic—collard greens, sautéed veggies, asparagus, dirty rice, Gouda grits, and garlic mashed potatoes are just a few of our top picks.

There’s often a weekend off-menu special and rotating seasonal options, so there’s always something new to enjoy. For a lighter option, any of their salads are a great choice.

Don’t miss the award-winning chili, a signature burger, or one of their incredible desserts. Right now, we’re obsessed with the new gluten-free chocolate cake, but the bread pudding, carrot cake, and hummingbird cake are all equally delicious.

Great food and service. Me and my guy went for dinner. I ordered from their dinner menu for Missouri City Restaurant week. My guy ordered Nekkid Redfish.

My family and I have been here a couple of times. The last experience could have been better as the food took long and the prices were raised from a few months at our last visit. They were out of a few items on the menu which was disappointing. As a pescatarian there were only 3-4 options. The servers were great and upbeat.

Their five-blend Bourbon old old-fashioned drink is really smooth

I hate to leave a bad review because the staff were so sweet. I rate the food here a 1/10. They seem to be under staffed but the staff did try their best to make up for that. I visited this place in hopes of trying good Cajun food but was left disappointed.

1. The burger had pieces of hair on it, which was absolutely disgusting.

2. The dirty rice was extremely hard and dry. I was shocked that this was even served.

3. They forgot the Peace Ice Cream—I never received it.

4. As for the banana pudding, I ended up throwing it away because I was so disgusted by the other issues that I didn’t even want to try it.

I just wanted to give Nick and Josie a really outstanding review based off the services provided! Upon arriving to the restaurant we were greeted and seated very quickly, offered some drinks and appetizers right away as well as outstanding customer service was shown to the max to provide details about each menu item considering this was our first time here. Overall they both showed Outstanding hospitality through out our whole night here. overall we will be repeat visitors to this establishment. Thank you again Nick and Josie for going above and beyond as you both did.
