We waited an hour and 15 minutes for our food. When we noticed a larger party that arrived 30 minutes after us was getting their food first, we asked how much longer for our food, and were told that the lady at that table complained to the owner, so their food took priority. That table in particular were all friends/family of the guy singing live music tonight.
When our food finally came out, the fried mushrooms were very crispy and overcooked. Our burgers were very burnt as well, one of the most driest burger I’ve ever had in my entire life. Considering the wait and how overcooked everything was, the food wasn’t even warm or room temperature. Burgers and fries were practically cold, as if they were sitting out for a while, sooooo not really sure why we even had to wait so long.
Overall the service was the better part of our experience, however it doesn’t make up for the cold, dry food, or the long wait. Especially when we paid significantly more than what we pay when we dine in for texmex, with grande margaritas.
This was our second time here, but first time for dinner, not sure if we’ll be returning.
Edit to add: I appreciate the owner responding. I’m not sure what time our food was actually entered, but my dad joined us at 7pm and we placed our order with a waitress near 7:15pm. Food arrived at 8:30pm, so correction, an hour and 15 minute wait. (I corrected the error in my original review as well).
Again, the service was not the issue here, and I even rated the service with 4 stars. It would have even been 5 stars for service, if someone would have just stopped by our table to communicate about the delay in food. Instead, we had to ask 2 different people about it.
In fact, when it hit the 45 minute mark, I even gave the benefit of the doubt and thought, “It’s a saloon, they probably only have a few people in the kitchen, and there’s a big party in that corner too, so I’ll be patient.” That was up until I saw them get their food first, and we were told they took priority because they complained.
But the friendliness of the staff and the good service alone, does not make up for the experience as a whole.

Went for Green Jelly, amazing show, band was absolutely fantastic. They spent the entire day at the venue, mingling with fans, signing and selling merch. Amazing experience, amazing show. Until….
The owner lost her ever loving mind, pissed off over their 45min set. She did not book any opening acts only a headliner, Green Jelly.
When they finished their Epic set and everyone was on cloud 9 from the experience, she kicked the band out! We had been there for several hours with one of the largest turn-outs I had seen there. Spending plenty of money on food and drinks.
I was escorted off the property by this psycho woman because I stated that I would never return because of the way she was acting. Like a petulant child that didn’t get the Barbie doll she wanted for Christmas…
The fact that the band had been there all day bringing people in and spending their time with us, outside of their set was amazing.
We would have gladly stayed several more hours, pouring money into the bar if not for the psychotic episode by the crazy lady.
God forbid you voice your opinion and get escorted off the property. Make sure you close your bar tab early before opening your mouth.
Apparently a paying Customer is not needed, clearly they do not need or deserve your patronage.

Every time my husband and I get a chance to go to Scotty’s it never disappoint us we have a Blast. Where can you go and get good parking, great food and awesome entertainment. We have attended the Casino Night and Bingo night and we laughed and had a super time. We can’t wait to go back again.
This is a great spot! We met a few other families with young kids here and everyone had a blast! There was pool and axe throwing. The kids were running around playing outside. the atmosphere was relaxed and the servers were friendly

First off, if you’re thinking about a visit just a quick reminder that it is family friendly but it is a BAR/SALOON first and a restaurant second. So keep that in mind- the service is reminiscent of what you get at a bar- which is 100% what you should expect. With that being said it’s a dive bar in an old barn. Pretty cool setup. The staff is friendly and the food is fresh made so it takes a minute to get to you but it’s good stuff. Definitely recommend the fried zucchini and the summer sangria. Visited on Bingo night and it filled up quick. Bingo caller (I think it’s the owner) was very funny and entertaining. It got a little warm but that’s to be expected in any place that gets packed full of people having fun. They had a/c and fans going to mitigate the warmth. Will definitely be back on a live band night to check the outside in action.
