I usually have great experiences at this Shipley’s location—it’s super convenient for me, and I’ve never had a major issue, even when my order has been incorrect. However, today was different. The new cashier at the drive-thru gave off a very condescending and sarcastic vibe. He didn’t give me time to look at the menu, then told me to pull up to the first window, which was fine, but when I tried to give him my order, he just stared at me instead of actually listening. The whole interaction felt off and uncomfortable. I don’t think I’ll be coming back to this location.

My sister and I went in to get donuts and kolaches for my son's birthday breakfast (don't judge me lol) and they had a line in drive through that was so long we decided to walk in. The lady at the counter was so nice and she was very fast to put my order together. I had a very large order. A dozen donuts, half dozen specialty donuts and 6 kolaches.
Everything was so fresh, donuts and kolaches were warm and the service was amazing.
Shipley is a legend. It’s an occasional treat for us and we expect a legendary experience. Today was not that. All week I’ve been targeted with the marketing for the new Yay’s. We’ve been excited about trying them all week. The day finally came. Placed an order on my app and headed to our closest store on Mason Rd in waterside. Get home, open the bag and pull out the holes, single chocolate sprinkled doughnut, my awesome apple fritter, our 1/2 dozen glazed, but what was not there were our Yay’s. We called the location to let them know what occurred and this is why I’m writing the review. Stuff happens, I get it. It’s how we respond that sets us apart from the rest. They acted as if was our fault for not checking the order. It’s a 20 minute round trip. So we spent 40 minutes getting doughnuts. There was absolutely no attempt to make it right. There was no apology, nada. Shipley will always hold a special place in my heart but it’s unlikely we will return to this location. Please be better.

Given the wrong order returned for the correct order and the cashier did not understand very frustrating. I was coughing they wanted the wrong order back I was visibly coughing trying to avoid the donuts but they took them back instead of throwing them away. I ended up receiving a refund but disgusted they kept the return to put back out. I will not be back. Unfortunately I saw it as cannot unsee it. Stay safe

Easily the worst Shipley I’ve been to. Donuts tasted old and the guy at the drive thru was so off and confused it seemed like he was on something. I drive by this location often and will skip it for a different shop going forward.
Best experience ever all the workers are so nice and friendly, they donuts were warm and delicious 😋 would come back.
